2 Jacks is a comical adaptation of Leo Tolstoy’s short story Two Hussars, comparing the generational change from father to son within the same business. The fast-paced Hollywood lifestyle, with romance and glamor, comes alive in 2 Jacks; a now-and-then look at the renowned way of living. Legendary ilm director Jack Hussar (Danny Huston), notorious gambler and womanizer, returns to the LA scene to ra ise money for his next feature ilm. Back in LA, Jack walks himself into an eventful night. Doing what he does best, Jack seduces the stunning Diana (Sienna Miller), attends some D wild industry parties, and narrowly escapes a brush with the law, all before playing a high-stakes poker game at dawn. As years pass, Jack Hussar Jr. (Jack Huston) later arrives in Hollywood to follow his father’s career path for his directorial debut. Soon after arriving, Diana (now played by Jacqueline Bisset) notices her daughter falling for her former lover’s son. Within this ilm we see the struggle of a son trying to step out of his father’s Hollywood shadow. Bernard Rose’s ilmmaking career spans 30 years and includes directing and writing credits for ilms such as the cult horror classic Candyman (1992), Immortal Beloved (1994), and Mr. Nice (2010). Born in London, Rose started his career on a good note, at the young age of nine when he won the 1975 BBC young ilmmakers competition. He went on to work as an assistant for Jim Henson on the Muppet Show The Dark Crystal and . Later, Rose attended The NNational Film and Television School in the United Kingdom, where he graduated in 1982. Branching off on his own, Rose became one of the pioneering music video directors in the early days of MTV, shooting promos for “Relax,” Frankie Goes to Hollywood, Roger Waters, and Red Red Wine – UB40. Years later, Rose reintroduced himself to BBC by directing TV Films such as Smart Money and Body Contact. Rose made the career choice of turning down working for major studios to make his ilms on digital cameras. In addition to 2 Jacks, Rose has adapted two other Tolstoy works for tthe screen Anna Karenina (1997) and Boxing Day (2012). A truly international ilm star, Jaqueline Bisset has undertaken a diverse range of dramatic and comedic challenges in the more than 50 ilms in which she has appeared, winning raves from critics and fans alike. She moves easily from theatrical to television ilms, in the United States as well as in Europe, where she is equally at home performing in both English and French language projects. One of the ilm world’s most renowned beauties over four decades of stardom, she has possessed skills attracting elite ilmmakers, and even branched into producing for the ilm “Rich And Famous” which paired her with Candice Bergen. Jacqueline is a classic star who has, indeed, starred in many classic ilms such as Day for Night, The Deep, Under the Volcano, and Murder on the Orient Express, an actress who has been selected by such directors as John Huston, Roman Polanski, Peter Yates, George Cukor, Francois Truffaut, Tony Scott, Ted Kotcheff., Maximilian Schell, Claude Chabrol and Sidney Lumet. Although often acknowledged as a gifted comedienne, Bisset is best known for her powerful dramatic performances, which have earned her numerous Emmy and Golden Globe nominations and other major honors. Bisset has teamed with such international stars as Philippe Noiret, Jean-Paul Belmondo and Jurgen Prochnow, as well as American and English leading men, including Paul Newman, Mickey Rourke, Nick Nolte, Albert Finney, Bill Holden, Steve McQueen, Robert Shaw, Jon Voight, Frank Sinatra, AnthonyQuinn, Anthony Andrews, Paul Scoield and Martin Sheen. The result has been a career of classic box ofice and critical successes. Since his emergence as one of the hottest young actors to watch after his very early appearance on the London stage for Peter Hall with Brenda Blethyn in 2002, Jack's career has been on the fast track. From movies such as Factory Girl for the Weinstein Co. to starring roles in the teen thriller Shrooms and Outlander (with James Caviezel and John Hurt, again for the Weinstein Co.), to playing the wonderful 'Bosie' opposite Al Pacino in Wilde Salome; then Hemmingway's Garden of Eden with Mena Suvari, and Shrink alongside Kevin Spacey and Robin Williams, which premiered at 2009's Sundance Film Festival. Jack also completed ilming Bernard Rose's Mr. Nice in London opposite Rhys Ifans, David Thewlis and Chloe Sevigny. Jack most recently starred in the independent ilm The Hot Potato opposite Ray Winstone and this was seen in the role of 'Royce King' in the Twilight ilm Eclipse which premiered to record breaking numbers. Currently, he can be seen playing the anomalous “Richard Harrow” in the Martin Scorsese produced Boardwalk Empire for HBO. Jack also recently starred in David Chase’s Not Fade Away with the late James Gandolini and as Jack Kerouac in Kill Your Darlings with Daniel Radcliffe and Michael C. Hall. He recently inished shooting David O. Russell’s American Hustle alongside Jennifer Laurence, Bradley Cooper and Robert DeNiro. Inluenced by his older sister Lisa Zane (Bad Inluence, Monkeybone), Billy got into the acting scene, appearing in over 86 ilms and 31 TV shows. He’s most known for his roles in Titanic (1997), which won 11 Oscars, Back to the Future (1985) and the sequel Back to the Future II (1989). In his early years Billy attended Harand Camp of Theater Arts. Soon after graduating high school, Billy traveled to California to try out his acting career. With in three weeks he won his irst big screen role in Back to the Future. Soon after he was in Critters as well as sev- eral TV ilms. In 1989 Billy ilmed Dead Calm a mass-murder thriller, which is where he met his wife of seven years, Lisa Co llins. In 1996, He starred in The Phantom and that lead him to his billion dollar grossing ilm Titanic. Leo Tolstoy, was a Russian writer who primarily wrote novels and short stories. Later in life, he also wrote plays and essays. Tolstoy is equally known for his complicated and paradoxical persona and for his extreme moralistic and ascetic views, which he adopted after a moral crisis and spiritual awakening in the 1870s, after which he also became noted as a moral thinker and social reformer. .
