This fort 2 hours (2.4) 07825 901358 CT16 1HW was built in the 1860s to defend the land to the north of Dover TR322423 Castle. The walk will take you on a journey through the evolution of the site and explain how the Land Trust is seeking to conserve and develop it for the community. Max. 20 places. Stout footwear must be worn. Easy pace, some uneven ground, but nothing strenuous The White Cliffs and Chalkup 21 Coastal Trail - Friday, Saturday, Sunday - See Walks 9, 16 and 23 A three-day coastal trek taking in the highlights of this beautiful route and visiting an extravaganza of modern architectural design along the Chalkup 21 Trail. A time for peaceful reflection as we pass through the world famous Battle of Britain Memorial site.
