CFP MSA Announces the Completion of CFP2 Specifications for 40G/100G Optical Transceivers

A Comprehensive 40G/100G CFP2 Ecosystem on Display at OFC/NFOEC 2013

ANAHEIM, California, March 18, 2013 -- Avago Technologies (NASDAQ: AVGO), Finisar Corporation (NASDAQ: FNSR), Optical Components Limited, Oclaro, Inc. (NASDAQ: OCLR) and Sumitomo Electric Industries, Ltd. (TYO: 5802) today announced the completion of CFP2 specifications defining the electrical and physical requirements for the 40Gbps and 100Gbps CFP2 optical transceiver products and systems. The CFP2 specifications document is now available at the CFP Multi- Source Agreement (MSA) website: www.cfp-msa.org.

The CFP MSA member companies and interest groups will be showcasing a broad range of CFP2 products and systems at the OFC/NFOEC 2013 exhibition in Anaheim, California, USA from March 19th to 21st. Attendees will experience the ecosystem including CFP2 modules, systems and test equipment.
