The Musicians Relief Fund helps Local 10-208 musicians in time of need. Contributions can be made in memory of a musician that has touched your life and whose life you would like to see remembered. TEMPO is the new name for the LEGISLATIVE ACTION FUND. It is the AFM’s nonpartisan, multi-candidate political action fund that is supported entirely by the voluntary contributions of AFM members. TEMPO makes disbursements to congressional candidates of either party who have a demonstrated record of support for professional musicians, issues of concern to its members and the arts in general. The CFM College Scholarship Fund for Music Students has been set up in memory of Leland Baska. This fund helps the CFM continue to offer financial assistance for children of CFM members as well as students of CFM members that are currently working toward a music degree.
