Receiving mileage credit Here are two ways to ensure that you receive your AAdvantage miles. 1) Request your reservations in the same name as used for your AAdvantage account. If the name on your account is different than the name on your passport, contact AAdvantage Customer Service to correct your account name. 2) Remember to provide your AAdvantage number when you make a reservation with American Airlines or any airline, hotel, car rental, or retail programme participant*.
