Kia ora whānau Upcoming In this fortnight’s newsletter we are celebrating some of the learning that is happening in Pod. Over the course of the term each Pod Events will have the opportunity to showcase their work. Term 1 Kylie Morrison, Peter Drummond and Lynley Wright will be participating in the very valuable Incredible Years for Teachers (IYT) training programme School Triathlon during Terms 1 and 2. They will be attending this course fortnightly on Sunday 1 March Thursdays, starting this week. There is an Incredible Years for Parents (IYP) course as well if you are interested. Pahoia School Swimming Sports The Board of Trustees are pleased to announce that, at our first meeting Thursday 5 March of the year, we elected Meredith Miller to be our new Chairperson. Our previous Chairperson, Victoria Denyer, no longer has children at Pahoia Small Schools Swimming School so she will be standing down as a trustee in the near future. We Sports do have an outstanding Board so if you are interested in joining Meredith, Monday 9 March Kurt Seifert, Karl Wansbone, Sylena Douglas, Matt Finnigan and myself, please let us know. BOT Meeting 6pm Monday 9 March Our incredibly hard working and enthusiastic fundraising team are finalising arrangements for the Triathlon this Sunday. 2020 Eastern Regional Surf Club Competitions (ERC's)

Pahoia School students Connor Miller, Kees Miller and Isabel Shaw recently took part in this weekend of beach sprints, beach flags, surf races, board races, run swim runs and relays.

Goals were achieved and courage was tested. It was character building and lots of fun. Splash ’n’ Dash Day Thanks to our great fundraisers for the sausage sizzle.
