Manavlok Ambajogai 32ndAnnual Activity Report 1stJuly 2013 to 30th June 2014

The Activity Report for the period 1st July 2013 to 30th June 2014 was presented before General Body During Annual Meeting held at MANAVLOK’s headquarter on 16th August 2014 by Mr. Aniket D. Lohiya, Secretary Manavlok. The activities during 2013-14 were performed successfully according to the agenda and resolution passed in the Executive meetings. The Financial statement (April 2013 to March 2014) was also presented before Executive, Trustees and General Body Members on 16th August 2014. During this General Body Annual General Body Meeting by Mr. Aniket D. Lohiya, Secretary held at MANAVLOK meeting, we paid homage to head quarter on 16th August 2014. departed soul of Manavlok’s well-wishers.

1) Review Of Annual Activity, 2013-2014 The action plan and follow-up of the resolutions taken in the reporting year 2013-2014 are as follows:  We purchased 26 seats capacity of TATA bus on loan, costing Rs. 11,20,000 (Eleven Lacks Twenty Thousands only) from bank of .  We stepped towards making Eco-Friendly Campus, by installing Solar Power Generator System of 5500WP Training Centre’s Building through Nueva Renewable Power Pvt. Ltd., Hydrabad.  Renovation work was done at Manswini Mahila Prakalp: a) Tiles for Flooring, hall and two rooms, b) Installed solar water heater at hostel c) removed the damaged roof water harvesting system and installed new system.  Renovation work done at Kallyan Mandapam; Replaced the damaged roof water harvesting system.  We purchased a John Deere tractor with trailer for agriculture purpose for Salegoan Sub-Centre.  A proposal for Farm Mechanization to ‘ADM’ Cares was sanctioned during January 2014 and started the project.  Diwali bonus Rs. 2,11,000 was given to 51 workers of Manavlok.  Started a Short term deposit system to get more interest from the bank.  The construction of compound wall of Manavlok campus is on progress.  Art centre was inaugurated on 26th January 2014 to promote painting and crafting, and helping aspirants in building career and excellence in profession.  On 20th February 2014, the Budget for financial year 2014-2015 was submitted to Assistant Charity Commissioner Office, .  A proposal for the building construction of Manavlok’s College of Social Sciences had been sent to Higher Education Department, New Delhi through Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar University.  Bank account operation of the Manavlok’s College of Social Sciences will be done through the signatories of Mr. Aniket D. Lohiya (Secretary: Manavlok, Ambajogai) and Dr. Prakash Jadhav (Principal: Manavlok’s College of Social Sciences).  Two posts of Asst. Professors and three non teaching posts were recruited as per the guidelines and norms of Dr. B.A.M.U. Aurangabad.  Coloring had been done at Manavlok’s College of Social Sciences.  Manavlok’s College of Social Sciences had deposited Rs. 1,12,360/- as per guideline for NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council) for their visit.  The activities of helping the affected villagers due to unseasonal rain and terrifying hailstorm during February end to middle March 2014 was successfully taken up with the financial support of Rs. 11,97,175/- from Sadanand Trust, India and Vaishnava Centre for Enlightenment, USA under the proposed theme “Remedial Measures for Farmers Affected by Natural Calamities”.

2) Management of Institution Since inception of the Manavlok till present day Dr. D. S. Lohiya (Founder: Manavlok, Ambajogai) is the biggest asset for our organization in guiding the team with diversified experienced.

Under the dynamic leadership of Mr. Aniket D. Lohiya (Secretary, Manavlok Ambajogai) with untiring efforts and devoted works and proper guidance to his dedicated team, all the meetings, projects work, networking, etc. were performed timely. The sub-sections like accounts, computer, store, training, vehicles, HelpAge, Manaswini Mahila Prakalp (Manavlok’s Women Resource Center), seven Sub-centers (Yelda, Poos, Pisegaon, Bhavthana, Patoda, Pardhewadi, Salegaon) performed appreciable cooperation in the interdependent works. Pardhewadi sub- centre is independently working under Vichardhara Sanstha. Meetings: We conducted regular meetings on evaluation and feedback of the activities and project implementation at different levels. 12 meetings for all workers, 44 meetings for sector/ department/ sub-centers incharge, 5 meetings for Executive Members and 2 Meetings for General Body.

3) Self-Help-Groups of Krushak Panchayat We have 127 Self Help Groups from 47 villages. We enable the group member to purchase seed & fertilizer for their farm. Under this programme we conducted need based training on economic empowerment, linkages with banks, dealing both personal and social issues/problems, loan facilities for agriculture, etc. For this year, as per the demand of the groups we have given loan/advance amounted to Rs. 70, 40,353/- for 1294 members of 118 self help groups. Last year’s loan/ advance have been recovered 100%. Since 2012-2013 we collected 2% interest on the loan/Advance as annual fee from the members of Self 1% fund of the Groups to generate sources of capital income. Help Group of which 1% for administration cost and 1% for the fund of the Groups to generate sources of capital income. Krushak Mandal (A village level Farmers’ Club) was started in 11 villages under NABARD.

4) Manaswini Mahila Prakalp Manaswini Mahila Prakalp is a Women`s wing of Manavlok, runs separately for the cause of violence and discrimination against women since 1984. In the reporting period the undertaken programmes and activities are as follow:

a) Free Legal aid & Counseling Centre – We received 106 cases of violence against women and dispute in the family. 44 cases were compromised and settled. 20 matters were referred to court. We did Follow-up for 214 cases of old and new matter. Regular visit of our Legal advisor was remarkable. We recorded that Cases are registered from all over Marathwada regions. b) Shelter Home - 16 needy women were given shelter in our Dilasa Grauha. They were provided medical as well as legal aid. They were assisted with psychological support and they made aware of the required law to take their own decision. c) Gender equality campaign- A Campaign for gender equality and protection of women from domestic violence were carried successfully among 20 villages under Ambajogai Tahasil. Community support groups were formed in each village having 8 women and men Member to prevent domestic violence at village level. Workshops, Street Plays, Meetings, Rallies, and Parents’ Meetings were conducted.

5) Education  Run-zhun Kindergarten: In the reporting year we have 33 children at our Kindergarten. We organized Art & Culture Activities for their development. This activity helps the Home Science College students to fulfill the curriculum of their syllabus.

 Home Science College For Women: Presently there are 18 girls students Art & Culture Activities pursuing B.Sc Home Science. College celebrated the National Nutrition Week by organizing cooking competition. Ms. Shailaja Pawar and Ms. Priyanka Dahire received Motherhood and Fatherhood Awards of Manavlok respectively. Final year student adopted one village Morewadi and provided Art & Craft training to women. Students Organized Exhibition of Art & Craft.

 Manavlok College of Social Sciences: In the reporting year the result of the college was 97.22%. Praveen Shelkikar stood third in Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University Aurangabad and Komal Sakhare stood second in the college with 71.09%. Both the students were honored with Matrasmrati and Pitrasmrati awards respectively. For every year we organized Parent’s Meeting in the college. Student’s council was also formed in the college. Swabhiman Sikshan Yojana (Kamva Va Shika) is running in the college. Regular Alumni Meet was organized in the college. Students visited eight Social Work agencies during their orientation visits. Two days field work workshop was also organized in the college. Rural camp was conducted in the village Pathan Mandva Tq Ambajogai. Various awareness programmes were conducted at different villages. Study tour was also taken out. Students were placed in various renowned NGO’s for their Block Placement Training.  Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Nam Vistar Din and foundation day were celebrated. Marathwada Muktisangram Din, Republic Day, Maharashtra Day, International Labour Day and international Women’s Day were also celebrated in the college.  Two National Conferences were organized at different two themes namely; 1) “Declining Girls Ratio and Society” and, 2) “Exclusion and Inclusion of Dalit and Minority Communities in India” were organized in the college and Book of selected research articles was published.  College reopened on 18 June 2014.  We intake 40 students for MSW 1st year as per the university’s guidelines.  The college modifying library with adopting E-library system. There are 4203 books in the library. Book Exhibition was taken place.  Parivartan Prakalp ran by the staff of college were conducted activities in its adopted village “Satephal”. Three self help groups were formed and distributed seeds and fertilizer. Sewing machines were distributed to

deserted women at village “Stephal”. We organized programmes for the Demonstrations of modern sewing machine, soil testing, HB testing, health checkup of animals and medicine distribution programmes.  Ekalavya Training Centre: Skill Training Is Provided at Salegoan Sub-Centre. Presently there are two beneficiaries getting training in tailoring.  Training of fashion designing was given to 17 women at Manaswini Mahila Prakalp.

6) Jansahayog (Peoples Initiative to Fight Against Injustice) It is a branch of Manavlok for Social Action Project. It empowered among BPL people and other vulnerable groups (Aged, Destitute, Deserted Women and Handicapped). There are various schemes of government allotted for the vulnerable and marginalized groups of people to improve economically, socially, politically and mentally but unfortunately some people including government officials tried to benefit from those schemes by delaying in delivery and drain away. Therefore Jansahayog activities focused on Govt. schemes to be delivered at right time and right place to right person. It strives to stop practicing among Govt. servants and elimination of exploitation to poor people. Circumstances compelled our Jansahayog team to pressurize the concerned culprits by organizing various public demonstrations, Satyagrha and Gherao, before the office of Thashildar. As per our recorded source, the outcomes are 484 senior citizen benefitted from old age schemes, ShravanBal yojana and Sanjay Gandhi Niradhar Yojana were sanctioned to 673 beneficiaries, 232 applications were sanctioned for ration card of BPL, 236 application of food security scheme were sanctioned and One HIV patient was benefited. Consistent Follow-up of remaining applications is going on.

The black marketer of Kerosene was caught and captured kerosene was sold at Govt. rate to poor families. The amount was collected donated to poor patients. We acknowledged Mr. Sunil Kendrekar (District Collector, Beed) for his exemplary services towards helping Poor people in developmental aspect, so we organized Satyagraha to revoke his transfer order and to continue his service in our district, Beed. During acute scarcity of drinking water faced in the town (Ambajogai), Jansahayog demanded regular water supply to poor localities to concerned department. At short time we could the respond of it that Nagar Parishad started water-supply to needy localities by tankers. Domestic Worker’s Association: Jansahayag formed an association for Domestic workers called “Domestic Worker’s Association” to overcome their difficulties by sharing and voice- out. Till date they are guided by our Jansahayog team. The 7th annual day of Association of Domestic workers was arranged. They were addressed by Mr. Rajkumar Ghayal, labour leader , Beed and Dr. Jostsna Chate from Kunkulol Hospital, Ambajogai. On this occasion Dr. Dwarkadas Lohiya (Babuji), Datta Ambekar The 7th annual day of Association of Domestic workers Journalist, Mr. Aniket Lohiya, Mr. Lalasaheb Agle, the staff of Manavlok and college of Social work were attended. Mr. Datta Ambekar (Journalist) extended a donation of Rs. 3000/- for refreshment. Presently Jansahayog is very popular center of Manavlok which works on advocacy for the poor and ignorant people.

7) Training Center Our training centre is well designed and well furnished for both residential and non- residential types of trainings, located at Manavlok Campus, Ambajogai. This training centre is one of the sources to build our volunteers to professional social worker and it is a source of income generating through lending to other organization for trainings. In the reporting year, we used this training centre for various trainings Conducted by Manavlok for the stakeholders of integrated watershed development like A training programme for the committee members of watershed programme under integrated watershed management programme sponsored by Vasundhara Watershed development scheme, and Introductory Training on preparation of detailed project report, training on participatory rural appraisal, training on internal resources and livelihood. Being Manavlok is a District Recourse Organisation (DRO) for integrated watershed management programme; we send the trainings’ reports to Yashada, . Shri. Lalasaheb Agale had been to Yashada, Pune for the planning and review of the training given under Manavlok as District Resources Organization. Ku. Deepali Maske had attended twice ten days training programme organized by Krishi Vidnyan Kendra Karpude Jalana.

Also this training centre was used by Manavlok’s College of Social Sciences for national conferences (two) and classes for students, one workshop of NGOs from Marathwada, health department workshops of Manaswini Mahila Prakalp.

For income generating we allowed other organizations/people to use our training centre. In the reporting year too there are many workshops/programmes were held in this training centre like A workshop of Ayurvedic doctor, workshop of PIAA, training programme of MAVIM, two workshops of Maharashtra rural bank and one workshop of MSEB. A marriage ceremony and the programme of Datta Prasadji Lohiya was arranged in Late Ad. Bhagwandasji Lohiya Kalyan Mandapam.

8) Health Department National tuberculosis Eradication Programme (DOT)  A report of eight patients who have completed the course of medication was submitted to District T.B. team.  At present three patients are under treatment, twenty eight patients were under medication during the period of the submission of report.  Twenty five patients have completed the course.  The sputum of 25 new patients is sent for testing.  We did Home visits for seven new patients.

CBM (Community Based Monitoring):  Manavlok has been selected as District Coordination Organization and Taluka Organization of Ambajogai Taluka’s for CBM. This activity is being implemented in 35 villages of Ambajogai Taluka. Two meetings of District Sukanya Committee and two meetings of District Monitoring and Planning Committee were arranged and different problems regarding health services were put before higher authorities of Ambajogai and .  A workshop was organized for different organizations and staffs of health department. Workshop was arranged for people’s representatives, five meetings were conducted with the workers of Taluka co-ordination NGO’s for review of activities and planning. Three meetings were held with district monitoring and planning committee and deputy director.  A training and awareness programme were conducted for patient’s welfare committee in twenty villages. Nutrition and water supply committees were extended and the training was given to them. Progress report of four primary health centers were prepared and displayed in the respective primary health centers. Similarly a progress report of rural hospital located at Dhanora village was prepared and displayed on the walls of hospital.

 We organized 6 Public Hearing on social issues at different places. First public hearing on various problems of health service was organized in District; Beed. Several villagers have discussed on the issues of health services in the presence of district medical health ‘Sabhapati’, and district medical officer. Some of the problems were solved immediately. Second public hearing was held in civil hospital, Mandi Bazar Ambajogai for different problems. For this programme 460 people were present including MLA shree Prithviraj Sathe. Others Public hearing programme was arranged in Apegaon, Bhavthanam, Bardapur, Ghatnandur primary health centers under Ambajogai Taluka. About 579 villagers took part in these programmes. A follow up was done by visiting villages, visiting higher authorities and through postal communication regarding the health issues.  In the primary health centers of Apegaon, Bardapur and Bhavthana, there were recorded ascending in the OPD and other services after public hearing were done. The nebulizers and Ambulances that were out of order have come into use. The meetings of patient welfare committees had started held regularly along with the active participation of people’s representative at increasing scale. The quality of health services has been improved as per evaluation report. Awareness on services to be given by PHC has been developed. A complaint box is kept in Panchayat Samittee Ambajogai. Asha Sanghatna meetings were conducted every three months. Their problems were put before the authorities.  Manavlok provides Ambulance for needy patients on the basis of neither lost nor profit. In the reporting it was used by four patients and contributed a sum of Rs. 13039 for maintenance. Help for Health / Education/ Disaster Sl. 9) Help to Drought Affected Area In the year 2012-2013, five blocks under Beed District faced severe drought. There was scarcity of drinking water & fodder. The villagers were also suffered due to lack of employment. The organization received some donation from donor agencies namely; Sadanand Trust, India and Vaishnava Centre for Enlightenment, USA. Six villages in Asthi Taluka were provided with roof water harvesting structure. In village Matori of Taluka Shirur a positive result had been obtained due to 80 deep trenches taken in three streams running through that villages. A fund raised by Daily Sakal was utilized. The outcome is that villagers could get enough water from

MANAVLOK, Ambajogai 32ndAnnual Activity Report wells and dam for drinking. Due to this experiment the wells in vicinity have also got enough water. The village has become as tanker free zone. Six villages in Asthi Taluka were provided with roof water harvesting system which resulted to hand-pump and wells in the villages got enough water after first rainfall.

10) Help Age India Presently there are twenty Self Help Groups of aged people. The recovery of loan given to eleven groups are smoothly repaying regularly. Six senior citizens have been operated for cataract. Regular meeting of president and secretaries of the self help groups was held. Ration were given to Sixty-six senior citizens. Similarly seven old people were provided with clothing. Helpage India has visited and checked the record by observing the groups. A short tour to Chakarwadi for nineteen senior citizens was arranged on October 1, 2013. World senior citizens day was celebrated with the 700 senior citizens.

11) ChildLine Manavlok is a Nodal Organization of implementing Childline 1098 activities in Beed City. Twelve weekly and three monthly meeting have been conducted with partner’s organization “ Yuva gram”. We did Awareness about Childline activities during Khandeshwari Fair. Children’s Day was celebrated on 14th Nov. A protest rally on child labour issue was organized and a poster was published with the slogan “Say No to Child Labour” by honorable District Judge.

12) Agriculture (RTRS – Round Table on Responsible Soy) The aim of this project is to provide modern techniques for soybean farming and providing up to date information to improve the financial standard of the farmers and to use sustainable techniques of farming. For this purpose responsible soybean farming programme was undertaken. We enrolled 5650 farmers covering 11237 hectors of soya cultivated farm/field from 56 villages for RTRS programme. RTRS project had been started on behalf of ADM Agro Industries, . Due to some technical problem in the company, the project was closed down after three months.

13) Farm Mechanization This project has been started since Kharif crop season 2014 in an adopted village; Paleskheda. The major objectives of the project are: 1. To mechanise end-to-end operations of Crops cultivation in identified clusters by forming Farmers’ Groups 2. Minimise cultivation expenses by 33 % 3. Increase operational efficiency by timely farm operation 4. Save wastage at harvesting stage by 20% Farmers were provided with up to date knowledge of farming and information regarding modern techniques and were motivated to use the same. ADM Cares-USA had donated an amount to purchase of machines to be used for doing the work from pre sowing to harvesting. These machines include two tractors, two trolleys, Rotavetor, two BBF machines for sowing, Boom spray, lazar land leveler and harvester. In the reporting year we covered 182.5 acres of 57 farmers.

14) Agriculture Development Project We are doing not only teaching others for the development of agriculture but we also implement our knowledge practically in our own farm. During Kharip crop season of the current year, we cultivated mixed crops in our farm such as Soyabean, Jawar and Tur where Tur has been shown by keeping distance in two rows. During Rabbi Crop season we have sown gram. Our garden also cultivated a Variety of vegetables seasonally. The new Borewell has been dug and fixed with electric motor, old iron pipes were replaced. Twenty fruit trees were planted.

16) Store / Processing / Vehicle We spent An amount of Rs. 8,35,854/ on the purchased of stationary, computers and miscellaneous material. Scrape materials were sold for Rs. 7,050/-. 527 toilet units were sold under RSM for Rs. 37,410/-. In the premises of main office a solar electricity generator was installed fixed on the roof of Training Center. As per the requirement/demand of the villagers we exercised our processing unit of Snehadhara oil mill, Dal mill, Flour mill located at Sub-Center; Salegaon. And Generator was used for thirty hours. In the reporting year we purchased four new vehicles namely; one Grandy Jeep, one Tractor, one Car (Tata Arya ) and one Motor Cycle. AT present we have one Ambulance, Bus, four Motor Cycles and Eight Cars (Four-Wheeler) which were used for out station programmes. Rs. 2,26,427/- had been collected as rent from these vehicles.

17) CONSTRUCTION The construction work done in the report year is given in the table below: Place Work Done Manswini Mahila Prakalp: a) Tiles Flooring, and renovated the hall and two rooms, b) Installed solar water heater at hostel c) removed the damaged roof water harvesting system and installed new system. Sub-Center; Bhavthana: Renovated the building. Sub-Center; Salegoan: Painting Work is done. Sub-Center; Poos: 5 trolleys of Tractor, Mud (Murum) were spread. Training Centre: Repaired the floor. Head Office, Ambajogai: a) Old training centre hall has converted to head office and partitioned in three sections namely; Computer Department, Account Department and Agriculture, b) Constructed a New room for Secretary Office. At Head Office Campus: a) Constructed Art Centre with old materials, b) Dome House has converted to Cafeteria, c) Constructed new parking shed, d) Compound wall is in progress College of Social Science: Painting work is done.

18) Other Programmes Foundation Day: We celebrated an Annual Day of Manavlok on 1st April 2014. On this Auspicious Day, Shree Praveen Mahajan (Founder of Janarth Organization, Aurangabad) and Shree Chittrao Gore (Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Sakahar, Karkhana) were the Chief Guest and Guest of Honor respectively. Manavlok Shree Award was given to Dr. Vinayak Gadekar along with Rs. 5000/- for his best performance in the organization. Pitrusmriti and Matrasmriti awards along with Rs. 1500/- were given to (students of Manavlok’s College of Social Sciences) Praveen Shelkikar and Komal Sakhare respectively for their best performance in studies. And Shailaja Pawarand had given to Priyanka Madhukar Dahire from Manavlok’s Home Science College.

WATER IN MARATHWADA

Conference was held on the Topic “Water in Marathwada” on 12th and 13th November. 113 representatives from different organization working as water experts and management of water in Marathwada region were actively participated.

State Level Custard Apple Conference The 11th State Level Sitaphal (Custard Apple) Conference was arranged on 10th December 2013 in collaboration with Sithaphal Mahasangh, Pune. 250 farmers and agriculture experts from different parts of Maharashtra had participated in this conference. The conference was

Farmers Get-Together (Melawa) In commemoration of the Sane Guruji Birthday we made a Farmers’ Get-Together On 24th Deccember 2013. This programme was sponsored by Baliraja Co-operative Store and Krubhko. The President of this gathering was Mr. Chintaman Kulkarni (Manavlok, Ambajogai). The gathering was addressed by Mr. V. A. Untawale (Field Manager of Krubhako, Aurangabad), Dr. Dwarkadas Lohiya (Founder; Manavlok), and Mr. Vijay Pawar (Agriculture Officer). This programme was attended by 300 farmers (both male and female).

Help To Hailstorm Affected. In the period between the last week of February 2014 and early March 2014, there was a grief among farmers due to destructions on their Rabbi Crops, Animals, Houses, etc. by Untimely Rains with Terrible hailstorms where some farmers had taken extreme step to Suicide. We could help the victims on time with the financial assistance from Sadanand Trust, India and Vaishnava Centre for Enlightenment, USA. Under this programme we made 4 activities for the beneficiaries to restore their hope and resume their agriculture work.  185 farmers (Marginal and Dry land farmers) were benefitted relief of Seed and Fertilizer for 1 Acre of farm.  108 farmers (Marginal and Dry land farmers) were benefitted Rs. 3000/- each for spreading silt or manure in their farm.  Dug 145 WADTs (Water Accumulating Deep Trenches) to improve the situation of drought.  Installed Roof Water Harvesting System at three different education institutions for awareness about preservation of water at drought prone area.

Group Weddings for the Hailstorm Affected Farmers The wedding for the children of hailstorm affected farmers were arranged by combined efforts of Manavlok, Moreya Corporation Nigadi, Akurdi, Chinchwad and Rotary Clubs of Talegaon Dabhade, Pimpri Town,

Chinchwad, and Ambajogai City. On this auspicious day thirteen couples got married in the presence of thousands of people. Among these, twelve couples were married in Hindu Custom and one couple was in Muslim Custom. In this function, both the Bride and Bridegroom were provided all the requirement of marriage ceremony (i.e. attires and rings, priest, etc) by the organizer. Basic daily requirements of family like utensils, cooking stove with gas cylinder, etc. were gifted to these 13 married couple. Help of Rs. 5000/- was given to the family of late Mahadev Ashok Shelke who committed suicide due to the crop lost by heavy rain fall and hailstorm. The responsibility of education of his sister was also taken up by Manavlok.

A Workshop of NGO From Marathwada Region One Day Workshop was organized by ‘AFARM’ In collaboration with Manavlok for Marathwada NGOs at Manavlok, Ambjogai. This workshop was addressed by Dr. Dwarkadas Lohiya (President of AFARM), Smt. Sudhatai Kothari (Cashier; AFARM), Mr. Vinayad Gadekar, Mr. Walwadkar Vijaykumar (C. A. Ambajogai). The workshop was focused on the topic “New Rules of FCRA”.

19) Consultancy We supported the Vichardhara NGO by allowing using the Pardhewadi Sub-Centre. And another NGO the so called Bhumika Vishwastha Sanstha had been established with the support of Manavlok to create an ideal (Adarsh) village in Yelda and extend social services in rural areas.

21) Income Sources of Organization The organization has created income generating sources to create self funds for functioning of the organization activity. The organization has got 38 acres of Land where 23 acres are agriculture land utilizing for agriculture production. We constructed godowns at main office and its sub-centers for rent which generated very good income source. Our training centre is well designed and well Tractor Training Center furnished for both residential and non- residential types of trainings, located at Manavlok Campus, Ambajogai. This training centre is one of the sources of income generating through lending to other organization for trainings to Govt., NGOs and other institute. In our Head Office Campus, we big open hall and open place which we rent out for marriages. Apart from that we provide services of computer works, LCD, Xerox, and vehicles. In the financial year the organization has collected Rs. 13,31,258/- from rent / service charges.

23) Special News  Certificate of Accreditation from Credibility Alliance was obtained by Manavlok.

 On 5th Jan. 2014, Dr. Dwarkadas Lohiya (Babuji) was honored by Ambajogai Nagari Satkar Samitee at the hands of Dr. Baba Adhav from Pune in the presence of Justice Shree B.G. Kolse Patil Pune.  On 7th January 2014, Dr. Dwarkadas Lohiya (Babuji) was felicitated and awarded the Gangaprasadji Agrwal Seva Bhushan Award, Vasmatnagar.

 Mrs. Sanjana Apet received an award of ideal worker from Aple Ghar Naldurg.  Shaym Sarvade received an award of Late Achyut Bahegavankar SmritiKaryakarta Govrav Puraskar for his Social Work services among vulnerable groups.  Atul Avinash Kulkarni awarded the Vasantrao Naik Shetimitra Puraskar of Rs 25000/- by State Agriculture dept, Govt. of Maharashtra.  Prof. Dr. Arundhati Patil was honored by Shree Yogeshwari Nari Puraskar from Yogeshwari Deval Committee Ambajogai.  7th Sept. 2013 was a remarkable day which we had three important events. Firstly, the Death Anniversary of Late Narayandada Kaldate was observed. Secondly, it was the Birthday of Manavlok’s Founder (Dr. Dwarkadas Lohiya). And on this particular day, we published one novel (Shodh Akaraya Dishecha) written by Late Dr. Shaila Lohiya (Bhabi) at the hands of Prof. Madhu Jamkar and senior Poetess Prof. Lalita Gadge.
