Exhibition At the end of the gathering participants must: · Remove all their poultry and carriers from the gathering venue, back to the premises of origin · Inspect each bird for signs of ill health, notifying the gathering organiser and/or poultry expert if disease is suspected · If disease is suspected, isolate those birds for a veterinary inspection and if Avian Influenza is suspected APHA must be notified immediately (as per the organiser’s Contingency Plan) · In the case of suspected Avian Influenza, no birds should leave the premises until an APHA 33rd Champion Waterfowl Waterfowl 33rd Champion veterinary inspector has permitted the removal. Show Rules Championship Judge: Andrew Marment Geese Tom Davis 1. Doors open at 7.30 am on Sunday and all exhibits must be penned by 9.15. Any exhibits not penned by 9.15 am may be refused. They may be restrained by the wings or Light ducks Bill Bowen neck but the body weight must be supported when they are carried. 3. Only judges and officials may handle exhibits once penned.
