Denise Allen Zwicker The new Museo Soumaya in Mexico City has been described as “dazzling,” “a trapezoid in motion,” “a shiny silver cloud-like structure reminiscent of a Rodin sculpture,” and “the world’s flashiest museum.” Designed by maverick young architect Fernando Romero, it also was called “impossible to build.” The façade, in particular, presented huge challenges. If anyone could make it happen, it was owner Carlos Slim Helú, the world’s wealthiest man. Slim constructed the museum in 2008-2011 as part of the Plaza Carso, his distinctive multi-use development in Mexico City’s Polanco. Slim has noted that, since many Mexicans cannot afford to travel overseas to view art collections, he believed it was important to house a prestigious collection of international art in Mexico. Carlos Quiroga, quien propone los conceptos de Complejidad y Complicabilidad para con ellos analizar de origen un objeto de diseño y, posteriormente, transferirlo al campo de la arquitectura. El objetivo es generar nuevas propuestas de análisis semiótico para el objeto arquitectónico, más cercano al contexto ideológico postmoderno. La metodología de análisis considera, dentro de la complejidad, cuatro categorías que se centran en el análisis del objeto arquitectónico que considera el signo, no su uso; éstas son: 1- Modelo Conceptual, 2- Estructura Modular y Semas, 3- Señales Gráficas y 4- Potencialidades, categorías referentes a la sintáctica y semántica de la obra.   • Mapa De Tlalpan
    Mapa de Tlalpan La palabra TLALPAN se deriva de dos palabras de origen náhuatl; Tlalli- tierra, y Pan- sobre, sin embargo se le agregó la palabra Firme, quedando como “Lugar de Tierra Firme”. Aquí se registró el primer asentamiento humano en la Cuenca de México: Cuicuilco, el cual después de que el volcán Xitle hizo erupción, acabó con dicha civilización. Tlalpan está situado en el sur del Distrito Federal, y cuenta con una superficie de 310 Km2. Lugares de interés en el Centro Histórico de Tlalpan: Museo de Historia de Tlalpan (1) - El Museo de Historia de Tlalpan, se encuentra en el inmueble conocido como “La Casona”. Dicha construcción data de 1874, y es considerado monumento histórico desde 1986, por el Instituto Nacional de Antropología e Historia. En algunas ocasiones, aquí se ofrecen diversas manifestaciones artísticas. Plaza de la Constitución 10, Colonia Centro de Tlalpan. 5485 9048 Casa del Conde de Regla (2) - Data del siglo XVIII y perteneció al Conde de Regla, Don Pedro Romero de Terreros, rico minero que trabajó las Sierra de Hi- dalgo y dio origen al Nacional Monte de Piedad. Conserva en su fachada un pórtico de cantera con triple arcada, y una fuente denominada “Pila de la Conchita”. Congreso 20 esquina Galeana, Colonia Centro Tlalpan. Mercado de la Paz (3) - Único mercado de la época Porfirista en el Distrito Federal, se encuentra a espaldas del Edificio de la Delegación Tlalpan. Victoria y Congreso, Colonia Centro Tlalpan 5573 3734 Parroquia de San Agustín de las Cuevas (4) - Fue edificado por los frailes franciscanos entre 1637 y 1647, en el lugar donde se encontraba el Hospicio de los frailes dominicos.
