Rabbi Elana will be hosting from her dining room table via Zoom, and all are welcome to participate! The Freeman Center Café will be offering kosher-for-Passover meals for purchase throughout the week of Passover Sunday, March 28 – Sunday, April 4 Breakfast 8:30 am – 10:30 am Lunch/Dinner 12 pm – 7 pm* *Sunday, March 28, closed for mobile-order dinner orders due to Second Night Seder, lunch open 12pm-2pm, cold items only. TWO WAYS TO GET KOSHER-FOR-PASSOVER MEALS: 1. Order through the Duke Dine-Out Mobile Ordering App using your Duke Dining Food Points, Flex, or credit card. Choose your meal and your pick-up spot: • Freeman Center for Jewish Life Patio: 1415 Faber St. • West Campus: Express Pick-Up Spot at Brodhead Center (near Au Bon Pain Patio) • East Campus: Delivery Spot #6: Blackwell & Brodie Gym Dr. (Lunch/Dinner only) 2. Purchase a Grab & Go Meal at the Trinity Café on East Campus Daily kosher-for-Passover pre-packaged Grab & Go items available for purchase. Cash, Food Points, Flex, and credit cards accepted. FREE SHABBAT MEALS: Mobile ordering will be closed on Shabbat (evening of Friday, April 2 – Saturday, April 3). Jewish Life at Duke has got you covered with Shabbat meals, on us! 1. Friday, April 2 Shabbat Dinner: Sign Up in Advance Sign up for a free Shabbat Dinner Box by noon on Wednesday, March 31 at tinyurl.com/DukeShabbatBox and pick it up from 3:30-5:00pm on Friday, April 2. Select your menu item and pick-up location when signing up. 2. Saturday, April 3 Breakfast, Lunch, & Dinner: Grab & Go Meals Visit the Freeman Center Café on Saturday, April 3 to pick up a free Grab & Go breakfast (8:30-10:30am), lunch and/or dinner (12-7pm). No advance ordering needed, just stop by for a free meal. Trinity Café will continue to have kosher-for-Passover Grab & Go meals for purchase on Saturday. PASSOVER MENU SNEAK PEEK BREAKFAST LUNCH/DINNER • Matzah Brei with Blueberry or Strawberry Compote • Matzah Ball Soup • Fruit & Yogurt Parfait • Hot Entrées: Balsamic Glazed Chicken, Spinach & Sweet Potato Quinoa Patties, • Eggs and Omelets Cooked to Order Hot Buffalo Wings, Potato Kugel, Orange & Fennel Chicken, Stuffed Bell Peppers, • Frittata with Caramelized Onion and Mushroom and more • Passover Bagel or Matzah with Jelly or Cream Cheese • Pastrami, Turkey, Corned Beef, or Hot Brisket Matzah Sandwiches • And more • Salads – add grilled chicken, salmon, hard-boiled egg • Seven-Layer Chocolate Cake, Coconut Macaroons, Chocolate-Dipped Matzah, and more All items are prepared, packaged, and sealed in the Freeman Center Café, a kosher dining establishment under rabbinical supervision, operated in partnership by Duke Dining and Jewish Life at Duke.
