5 May 2017 Elizabeth Harris Principal Advisor ASX Listing Compliance Level 40, Central Park 152-158 St Georges Terrace PERTH WA 6000 Dear Ms Harris ASX Query: Ding Sheng Xin Finance Co. Limited We refer to your letter dated 24 April 2017 in which you have sought a response from the Company in relation to questions raised by the ASX regarding judgements made involving the Company’s subsidiary (“PRC DSX”) in the People’s Republic of China. In response to ASX’s queries, the Company advises as follows: 1. It is a natural consequence of the nature of PRC DSX business, being guaranteeing the repayment of loans and other specific performances, that it will be involved in legal processes. Where lenders seek recovery of loans following any default of the performance of borrowers, and that borrower is a client of PRC DSX and their repayment obligations are guaranteed by PRC DSX, PRC DSX will be named in the relevant legal processes. Accordingly, PRC DSX has been and is likely to continue to be a party to legal processes and by extension to have judgements made against it in its capacity as guarantor. PRC DSX processes are such that if a client defaults and a judgement is made against that client, and by extension PRC DSX, PRC DSX then seeks to renegotiate the terms of the obligation on behalf of the client. If that process is successful the judgement is no longer relevant and is withdrawn, however if that process is not successful PRC DSX makes the payments on behalf of the client and proceeds to seek recovery from the client.

COAL MINE METHANE PROJECT OPPORTUNITY Guizhou Zhongling Coal Mine CMM To LNG Project Guizhou Zhongling Coal Mine Nayong County, Bijie Prefecture, Guizhou, China OVERVIEW OF COAL MINE METHANE PROJECT: Zhongling Coal Mine is located in Nayong County, Guizhou Province, China. Zhongling mine has two minefields: the Zhongling field (Field 1) with two mining areas (Area 11 and 12) and the Pingshan field (Field 2) with one mining area (Area 21). Each mining area’s designed production capacity is 1 million t/a. Based on Zhongling mine’s geological coal reserve (710.43 million t) and average methane content (12.54 m3 /t), it is estimated that its geological methane reserves are 8.91 billion m3. Zhongling Mine is one of the earliest coal mines in Guizhou that uses CMM for power generation. Currently there are 15 x 500 kw low concentration gas engines installed in three mining areas. However, these gas engines only utilize about 20% of the CMM resource on average. In 2012, 26 million m3 CMM was vented to the atmosphere. Due to its remote location, Zhongling Mine is considering a CMM purification project for LNG. The gas processing capacity is at 15 million m3 methane/year (11,300 t LNG). Total investment (not including the land and infrastructure) is estimated at up to $10 million. In order to carry out such a project, the mine needs to significantly improve its drainage practices. The mine looks for technical partners to improve its gas drainage quality and quantity (underground and/or surface), and for investors. ESTIMATED ANNUAL EMISSION REDUCTIONS: 218,427 MTCO2E PROJECT DETAILS • Name of Project: Guizhou Zhongling Coal Mine CMM to LNG Project • Name of Mine: Guizhou Zhongling Coal Mine • Type of Ownership: Public • Type(s) of assessments performed: Pre-feasibility – When performed: Dec.

Rosen Received: 8 December 2015; Accepted: 25 February 2016; Published: 29 February 2016 Abstract: An interprovincial boundary region is a new subject of economic disparity study in China. This study explored the multi-scale spatio-temporal dynamics of economic development from 1995 to 2010 in the interprovincial boundary region of Sichuan-Yunnan-Guizhou, a mountain area and also the junction area of Tibetan Plateau, Hengduan Mountain, Yungui Plateau and Sichuan Basin in southwestern China. A quantitative study on county GDP per capita for different scales of administrative regions was conducted using the Theil index, Markov chains, a geographic information system and exploratory spatial data analysis. Results indicated that the economic disparity was closely related with geographical unit scale in the study area: the smaller the unit, the bigger the disparity, and the regional inequality gradually weakened over time. Moreover, significant positive spatial autocorrelation and clustering of economic development were also found. The spatial pattern of economic development presented approximate circle structure with two cores in the southwest and northeast. The Panxi region in the southwest core and a part of Hilly Sichuan Basin in the northeast core were considered to be hot spots of economic development.

Herbal market at Dragon Boat Festival (DBF) plays an important role in the inheritance of traditional medicinal knowledge among the Chuanqing people. This study aims to record the profile of medicinal plants of the Chuanqing people, discuss the dilemmas faced by their inheritance, and propose some strategies for passing down information, which is critical for the inheritance and protection of the Chuanqing people’s traditional medical knowledge. Methods: Data were collected through key informants and semi-structured interviews and free listing. Collected voucher specimens were identified using by botanical taxonomy method and deposited in the herbarium. Data were analyzed through use-value (UV) and cultural importance index (CI) values. Medicinal plants were compared with the Information System of Chinese Rare and Endangered Plants of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. Results were compared with the Pharmacopoeia of the People’s Republic of China (ChP), the Quality Standard of Traditional Chinese Medicine and National Medicine in Guizhou Province (QSG), and traditional medicines of Southeast Asian countries. Results: A total of 102 species from 53 families and 92 genera were recorded, with Orchidaceae and Asparagaceae (six species each), and Berberidaceae and Asteraceae (five species each) as the predominant families.

Through the literature and a field investigation, the species composition, endemism, horizontal distribution, vertical distribution and similarity were analysed. Finally, the hotspots of Gesneriaceae in Guizhou were determined by a complementary algorithm. The results were as follows: There are 153 species (including subspecies) of Gesneriaceae in Guizhou Province, belonging to 2 tribes, 8 subtribes, and 28 genera. These plants are distributed among 75 county-level administrative chinaXiv:202104.00080v1 districts. There are 128 species endemic to China and 45 endemic to Guizhou, and the vertical distribution is the most abundant at altitudes of 900-1 300 m. The calculation of the provincial similarity coefficient showed that Guizhou and Guangxi had the highest similarity. Finally, 10 hot spots were selected, representing 75% of the Gesneriaceae plants. Guizhou Province is a typical karst plateau mountainous area that is rich in species of Gesneriaceae, especially Oreocharis, Primulina, Petrocodon and Paraboea, which have high species diversity and regional specificity.
