FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE NOVEMBER 28, 2019 TITANS-COLTS SUPPLEMENTAL NOTES

HENRY LEADING NFL IN RUSHING OVER LAST 16 GAMES: Titans is on the verge of recording his second career and second consecutive 1,000-yard rushing season. He enters this week’s game at Indianapolis with 991 yards and 10 on 206 rushing attempts.

Henry can become the first player for the team since Chris Johnson (2008–2013) with consecutive 1,000-yard rushing seasons. He would join (seven), Johnson (six) and (five) as the only players in franchise history with multiple 1,000-yard rushing seasons.

In the past year, Henry has been one of the NFL’s most productive running backs. During his last 16 games, which include the final five weeks of the 2018 season and the first 11 contests in 2019, his totals include 303 rushing attempts for 1,616 yards and 18 touchdowns. The yardage and totals are the best in the NFL in that time period, while his 5.3-yard rushing average leads all running backs. The only player with a better rushing average is Baltimore Ravens (6.0).

Additionally, Henry’s 20 total touchdowns in the past 16 games, which include two touchdown receptions, make up the largest total in the league.

TITANS GO FOR THREE CONSECUTIVE GAMES WITH 200 RUSHING YARDS: The Titans have rushed for more than 200 yards in each of the past two games. The team accumulated 225 rushing yards against the Kansas City Chiefs on Nov. 10, followed by a 219-yard rushing performance against the Jacksonville Jaguars last Sunday.

With 200 rushing yards this week at Indianapolis, it would mark the first three-game streak of its kind in franchise history.

(continued on next page) No NFL team has registered three consecutive games with 200-plus rushing yards this season. In addition to the Titans, the Baltimore Ravens could also do so this week.

The Ravens rushed for 200 yards in three consecutive games a season ago (Nov. 18, 2018–Dec. 2, 2018). Prior to that, the last time an NFL team hit the mark three times in a single season was 2010, when the Jaguars (Nov. 28–Dec. 12) and Kansas City Chiefs (Oct. 10–31) each accomplished the feat.

This is only the seventh time in Titans/Oilers history the team has had back-to-back games with 200 rushing yards. The last time it happened was when the Titans rushed for 264 yards in a win against Jacksonville on Dec. 6, 2018 and followed with 215 rushing yards at the New York Giants on Dec. 16, 2018.

In his first five starts, he led the Titans to a 4-1 record, and his passing numbers in those five games included 138 attempts, 98 completions, 10 touchdowns and three .

Since Tannehill’s first start in Week 7 against the Los Angeles Chargers, his 114.9 passer rating is the fourth-highest in the NFL behind only Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson (137.0), Minnesota Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins (120.8) and Detroit Lions quarterback (116.2).
