CLICK Festival looks forward to invite our guests on a variety of extraordinary experiences within the field of arts, technology and science in shipyard halls and at the Culture Yard in Elsinore, Denmark, 20-21 May 2017. The coming festival includes several of our own productions, as well as specially curated constellations with artists from both home and abroad. CLICK Festival will continuously release program for the upcoming festival, which also includes talks, performances, installations and workshops. Initially, the festival is proud to announce the following three artists on the music program in 2017:

THIS IS NOT THIS HEAT (UK)

On the 13 February 1976, experimental rock band This Heat played its first show. Now, 40 years later, founding members Charles Bullen and Charles Hayward reunite, joined by a host of special guests, to perform new interpretations of their music. Arguably the most inventive band to emerge from the UK’s fruitful DIY scene in the 70s, This Heat’s career may have been short-lived, but its legacy continues to grow in stature and relevance. Still sounding as wild and original as when it was written, their music has as much in common with modern composers like John Cage as their art-rock contemporaries Gang of Four and The Pop Group.Read more

YVES TUMOR (US)

Yves Tumor is the inspired, enigmatic and conflicted persona of Tennessee- raised producer/performer Sean Bowie, a conduit for a distinctly bold personal aesthetic that has wrought the entrancing Serpent Music LP (out now on PAN), and a burgeoning reputation for bruising, invigorating live performance. Evolved from a diverse and prolific creative history under an expansive plethora of covert aliases, plus strong ties with forward-thinkers such as NON and , Yves Tumor emerges as Bowie’s most personal and matured incarnation to date, with Serpent Music his strongest recorded statement. ANNA ZARADNY (POL)

The creativity of Anna Zaradny is expressed through sound and visual art. As a composer and instrumentalist Anna Zaradny works in a wide spectrum of genres: from acoustic improvised music with a contemporary minimalist language to the complex structures of experimental compositions. As a visual artist, Zaradny creates in various media including installations, objects, photography and video. She uses abstraction, micro sound and architectonic elements, lights and space. Her pieces are marked by the ambiguity and the relationship between medium and ideas. Read more

CLICK Festival embraces the future by exploring the field between art, science and technology. Through concerts, exhibitions, talks, workshops and performances we conquer back technology to the arts and invite our audience to draw the new maps. By doing so CLICK introduces the whys, the whats and the wows of tomorrow. Now. CLICK is developed and produced at Kulturværftet in Helsingør, where the festival is being held.

The content is curated by a large co-operation of Danish and foreign competences of artists, scientists, students and professionals working with larger and smaller unions, educations and companies. These group members are elected and curated by the administrators of the festival program, and holds a close dialogue to their respective networks.
