Post Auto-W Workflow Process

• Beginning Spring 2017, eDrop will be extended to drops after auto-W • Will be two types of drop documents- pre and post auto-w • Routing is determined by type of document • The workflow system will use Schedule of classes and calendar information to determine if it is an eDrop vs. a Late eDrop with W or F • Student initiates late drop or late drop/add pair • Students will be given a warning similar to, “After the automatic W deadline, dropping classes will require permission from your school dean and your instructor. It will be up to your instructor or dean’s discretion to give you either a W or an F.” • Faculty will be required to assign a grade of W or F, per UFC policy • Routing and end date details will be solidified during Fall 2016 for Spring launch
