IST Heavy rainfall occurred at isolated places over Vidarbha. Light to moderate rainfall occured at most places over Vidarbha,at many places over West Madhya Pradesh and at few places over Chhattisgarh. Very light to light rainfall occured at isolated places over East madhya Pradesh.Thunderstorm occured at isolated places over Vidarbha , Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh. They were normal over below normal over Vidarbha and normal over Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh. Khajuraho and Nowgong recorded the highest maximum temperature of 34.6 degree Celsius. Minimum temparature No large change in minimum temparatures over Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh. They were normal over Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha and Chhattisgarh. The orange crop plays a vital role within the economy of the region. Among the fruit crops, orange crop covers about 45,226 ha area in Vidarbha. There is still a good potential toward bringing a lot of area below orange in Vidarbha region. The present paper analyses the information behaviour of orange growers concerning the production of the oranges. The various types of constraints confronted by the orange grower related to production of orange are rootstock availability, labour availability, manures and fertilizers, irrigation, plant protection, capital, availability of loan from co-operative society, technical information, use of growth regulator, supporting and constraints confronted by the orange grower related to marketing of orange are Grading, Transportation, Sale of produce, Packaging, Storage. The study was conducted in the purposively selected Amravati district of the Vidarbha region of Maharashtra state. Five Panchayat Samities from Amravati district were hand-picked purposively covering ten villages from every Panchayat Samiti.

In Madhya Pradesh, out of 313 blocks, 23 blocks extended to over exploited category, 09 blocks are in critical stage and 57 blocks are in semi critical stage (MP Dynamic Ground Water Assessment, 2015). As per rules of CGWB, the areas where the water level could not recuperated upto 3m depth after the monsoon K e yw or ds season, will essential artificial recharge. The solution lies in harvesting rainwater in farmers‟ field which are kept or left fallow for one reason or another. Though, all Groundwater these fields may not be good enough to recharge groundwater like percolation tanks recharge, Kharif but transfer water well below at least @4 mm/day even in clayey soils. So, to decide fallow, Priority which area is to be taken first in present study a method of identification of priority is Article Info proposed. Four basic criteria to decide the priority namely, amount of annual rainfall, the soil type, stage of ground water development stage and extent of kharif fallow.
