Identification of project and project proponent: The C r u s h e r Stone Deposit Quarry area is located at Village - Singot, Tehsil – Khandwa, District - Khandwa (M.P) 3.500 Ha quarry lease area with production of 27,000 Cubic Meter/Year is being operated by the lessee proponent, of Shri Aditya Nebhnani, at address - R/o - Ward No. 2, Main Road Pandhana, Tehsil – Pandhana, District – Khandwa (M.P.). The lease area has been prospected by the Dept. Of Mines & Geology Government of and based on the deposits available, the area was granted for quarry lease for the extraction of Crusher Stone. ii. Brief description & nature of the projects: The Proposed Quarry project area is having basalt Crusher stone throughout the area. Crusher Stone deposit mining will be done by Semi mechanized Open-Cast method with helping of dozing, drilling machine, Excavator, loading and transportation. During the working period total 3.500 Ha area will be excavated.

iii. Need for the project and its importance to the country and or region: The Proposed Quarry mining project will fulfill its end uses in buildings and construction, bridges, paving, monuments, making of road and many other exterior projects. A total of 25-30 people are employed in this mine. It will create employment (though marginally) for local population.

iv. Demand – Supply gap: There is large demand of Crusher stone for road, railway track, building construction etc. v. Imports vs. Indigenous production: There will be no import for the project. There will be indigenous inputs in the entire mining activity.

Topography: Topographically the applied QL area having gentle slope towards east direction the maximum elevation is 315m in north side and 314m towards south side thus only 1 m. elevation difference is there. The drainage of the area is towards eastern direction follows natural slope of the area. Applied area is well connected by road all around sides. Main road is passing about 1.83 km. towards north side of the area via village Singot. In the Quarry lease area tree brushes and shrubs can be seen. Area is completely covered with rocks in the form of sheet. vii. Location and Accessibility: The sanctioned quarry lease area is located at a distance of approx. 19.97 km in north west direction from district head quarters Khandwa.

The nearest village is Singot, health & educational facilities (in the form of primary and secondary schools) are available there. Toilet Facilities: At the mine site Toilet is Proposed Quarry for staff and labors. 5. Proposed Quarry infrastructure a. d. Protection & Monitoring In Plantation: I. Protection of plants is the greatest challenge as villagers and their cattle are likely to damage the plantation before they are established. Hence protection of plantation is of paramount importance. Proper guards will be provided. II. In order to protect the plants from sun burn during summer, jute bags and agro net will be used. III. Adequate and timely monitoring such as soil working, weeding, fertilization and proper irrigation of the planted saplings would be made. The area would be protected from animals until the plants are above the level of damage. Proper monitoring of the plantation will be made. e. Drinking water management (source & supply of water): Drinking water is available in nearby village in Singot, which is near to the area. f. Sewerage system: No construction or sewage waste is expected from the mining process. g. Connectivity (traffic and transportation road/rail/metro/water ways etc): The lease area can be approached from district head quarter Khandwa to Village Singot. The lease area can be approached by own conveyance. h. Industrial waste management: No industrial waste will be generated. i. Power requirement & supply/source: As per the facilities and services, Power is required only for the lighting purpose which is being supplied by the common electric line. The nearby villages are electrified. 6. RehabilitationandResettlement(R&R)Plan: There is no habitation/population in the mine lease area, displacement of population and hence Rehabilitation & resettlement is not involved. 7. ProjectScheduleandCostestimates a. Likely date of start of construction and likely date of completion (time schedule for the project to be given): The construction work at the mine mainly comprises of construction of access road. The mining shall be started after getting environmental clearances. b. Estimated project cost along with analysis in terms of economic viability of the project. 4 ENVIRONMENTMANAGEMENTPLAN PARTICULARS MANAGEMENT

Air Quality Excavation, Dust generated due to drilling, blasting and Loading and vehicular movements will be suppressed by water Transportation spraying on haul road. To avoid the dust generation from the drilling operations wet drilling method will be practiced.

Drill machines will be fitted with dust collectors.

Use of appropriate explosives for blasting.

Controlled blasting techniques will be practiced.

Dust mask will be provided to the workers.

Proper maintenance of vehicles & machineries will be done.

Water sprinkling on the haul road and other road at regular intervals will be done.

Speed of the vehicles will be kept within the prescribed limits.

Dumpers will not be over loaded. Water Quality Sewage will be generated by employing 20 workers in the mine which will be diverted into a septic tank followed by soak pit.

Garland drains will be made around the mining area to channelize surface run off into natural drainage pit so that it can be utilized for dust suppression.

Mining operations will be at higher levels; therefore there will be no effect on ground water condition due to mining. Solid Waste Waste generated during mining operation will be stacked separately in the boundary barrier and will be stabilized by plantation.

Small amount of domestic waste will be generated for which dustbin will be kept at proper place and it will be disposed properly and regularly.

Financial and social benefits with special emphasis on the benefit to the local people including tribal population, if any, in the area: No tribal population is residing in the study area. There will be social benefits from the mining operations. The core benefit of the Proposed Quarry expansion is the availability of Crusher stone for development project.
