The joint venture arrangement allows the consortium members to diversify their investment risk. The other two went to Chinese companies, China Overseas Land (688.HK) and Goldin Financial (530.HK). Cheung Kong Asset Holdings (1113.HK) defeated four other developers to secure the development rights of Wong Chuk Hang Station Package 3 in Aug-18. -

CB(4)1318/15-16(01) Legislative Council Panel on Transport Fares of MTR Kwun Tong Line Extension This paper briefs Members on the fares of MTR Kwun Tong Line Extension (“KTE”). Background 2. KTE will commence passenger service on 23 October 20161. It is approximately 2.6-kilometre long, extending the existing Kwun Tong Line from Yau Ma Tei Station to the new Ho Man Tin Station and Whampoa Station (“KTE stations”). Ho Man Tin Station will be an interchange station connecting Kwun Tong Line and the future Shatin to Central Link. Fares of KTE 3. In accordance with the Operating Agreement signed between the Government and the MTR Corporation Limited (“MTRCL”), MTRCL shall brief the Legislative Council Panel on Transport and the Transport Advisory Committee on fares of new railway extensions. 4. Being an extension of the Kwun Tong Line, the same “distance based” fare structure of the existing MTR heavy rail system will be applied to determining fares of the two new KTE stations.
