FC BARCELONA Futbol Club Barcelona also known as FC Barcelona and familiarly as Barça, is a professional football club, based in Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain. Founded in 1899 by a group of Swiss, English and Catalan footballers led by Joan Gamper, the club has become a symbol of Catalan culture and Catalanism, hence the motto "Més que un club" (More than a club). It is the world's second-richest football club in terms of revenue, with an annual turnover of €398 million (2011). The unique feature of the club is that unlike many other football clubs, the supporters own and operate Barcelona. BOLETÍN DE LA SOCIEDAD CASTELLONENSE DE CVLTVRA BOLETÍN de la SOCIEDAD CASTELLONENSE DE CVLTVRA TOMO LXXXIV 2008 REFLEXIONS CORELLANES. A PROPÒSIT D’UN LLIBRE SOBRE LA LITERATURA... 5 DE LA SOCIEDAD CASTELLONENSE DE CVLTVRA Tomo LXXXIV • Enero-Junio 2008 • Cuad. I-II Reflexions corellanes. -
