TECHNICAL REPORT FOR SERBIA LSMS 2007 Republican Statistical Office of Serbia, Department for International Development and World Bank 1.1 FIELDWORK Approximately 90% of the LSMS questionnaire was based on the 2002 and 2003 LSMS questionnaire, carrying forward core measures in order to measure trends over time. The survey incorporated two methods of interviewing - one involving the interviewer (face to face) and the other was a self-completion diary. All modules, with the exception of the consumption diary, were filled by the interviewer with the respondent. The diary was left in the household and filled in by the household member in charge of daily purchases. Fieldwork consisted of three phases. The first phase involved identification of the household and filling of certain modules, after which the household was instructed how to keep the diary of consumption. In the second phase each household kept the diary, while the interviewers were obliged to visit the household and help them in fill the diary where needed. In the third phase the interviewer visited the household again, examined the diary to see whether it had been correctly filled, and conducted the interview for the remaining modules. Distribution of modules according to phases is presented in the following table. Table 1: Organization of modules by phases of data collection 1. Demography and migration 2. Durable goods 1.phase: 3. Social programs 4. Health Household consumption 2.phase 5.1 Daily consumption 5.2 Monthly consumption 6. Education 7. Employment 3.phase 8. Agriculture 8. Water and sanitation Although the majority of questions were identical between LSMS 2002, 2003 and 2007, two new modules were added to LSMS 2007: 1.

  • Schedule of Requirements Request for Proposal
UNOPS eSourcing v2017.1 Section II Schedule of Requirements Request for Proposal Provision of services for Raising Public Awareness Campaign on Availability of Local Level e-Government Services (UNOPS-SWISSPRO-2021-S-001) e-Sourcing reference: RFP/2021/18398 1 UNOPS eSourcing v2017.1 TERMS OF REFERENCE Raising Public Awareness Campaign on Availability of Local Level e-Government Services (UNOPS-SWISSPRO-2021-S-001) 1. BACKGROUND The Programme “Enhancing Good Governance and Social Inclusion for Municipal Development - Swiss PRO” improves local capacities primarily in 99 local self-governments in Šumadija and Western Serbia, and South and Eastern Serbia regions1 to apply good governance (GG) principles in local policies and regulations and thus increase social cohesion. The Government of Switzerland has allocated USD 6.9 million for the Programme, with the United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS) responsible for its implementation, in cooperation with the Standing Conference of Towns and Municipalities (SCTM). The Programme has to fulfil two main goals: 1. To contribute to the enhancement of organisations and officials’ knowledge and skills 2. To positively change the scope and quality of public services rendered to citizens, especially to those from excluded groups. Both goals will lead to improved regulations, institutional, technical and human capacities for the enhancement of e-services. In addition, capacity building will be provided to local civil society organisations (CSOs) as well as institutions dealing with social inclusion and gender equality. Overall, this will contribute to the improved rule of law at the local level, increased accountability, transparency and efficiency and effectiveness of the local self-governments (LSGs), and ultimately improvement of quality of life of citizens, especially excluded groups.

DREF final report Serbia: Extreme winter conditions DREF operation n° MDRRS006 GLIDE n° CW-2012-000006-SRB th 8 August 2012 The International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent (IFRC) Disaster Relief Emergency Fund (DREF) is a source of unearmarked money created by the Federation in 1985 to ensure that immediate financial support is available for Red Cross Red Crescent response to emergencies. The DREF is a vital part of the International Federation’s disaster response system and increases the ability of National Societies to respond to disasters. Summary: 206,291 was allocated on 8th February 2012 from the IFRC’s Disaster Relief Emergency Fund (DREF) to support the Red Cross of Serbia in delivering immediate assistance to some 3,000 families (8,000 beneficiaries). Extreme cold and heavy snowfall in late January and early February caused many problems in southern parts of Serbia, spreading in the later weeks to the rest of the country. 38 municipalities declared the state of emergency before the national government declared a national state of emergency on 5 February, mobilising heavy machines as well as 15,000 troops to assist in reaching the cut-off areas with approximately 70,000 residents living there. The Red Cross of Serbia, in its capacity of Red Cross of Brus branch and Fire Squad, combined National Crisis Headquarters member, coordinated medical evacuation in Brus. Photo: Red Cross of Brus its activities with the other actors and assisted with branch distribution of food, hygiene items, blankets, footwear and heaters. Some of the goods came from the DREF allocation, some from the national society’s emergency stock and some were provided by the Serbian government (national and provincial) and bilateral donors (Russian government).
