Our quiet villages on the outskirts of suffer far too often from antisocial behaviour, criminal damage and theft. Criminals can be hard to catch as they move from one village to the next.

Green Campaigner Laura Manston is taking action to make it as hard as possible for criminals to target our communities. Laura is connecting Neighbourhood Watch schemes across New Ash Green, Hartley, Hodsoll Street, Fawkham and West Kingsdown and says, “I hope that this network will make criminals think twice before targeting us.”

The Community Cupboard’s Reverse Calendar event was a huge success and took in 548 kilos of donations to support people in need over Christmas. The Community Cupboard provides food and support to more than 450 people from to Tonbridge and provides these essentials in as little as a few hours.

A keen supporter of the Community Cupboard since it started, Laura was "honoured to take part in such a worthwhile project” and enjoyed creating her donation box. “ I love supporting my community, especially when my children can take part.
