All CURRENT ARTICLE 4 DIRECTIONS TO LOCAL HERITAGE ASSETS – JULY 2018
The first list of Local Heritage Assets covers sites that have had Article 4 Directions added to remove the permitted development rights for demolition only. The second list of Local Heritage Assets covers sites that have had Article 4 Directions added to remove the permitted development rights for demolition & exterior painting. The third list of Local Heritage Assets covers sites that have had Article 4 Directions added to remove the permitted development rights for demolition and external alterations. These sites are all residential properties (excl. flats) The fourth list of Local Heritage Assets covers sites that have not had an Article 4 Direction applied. These sites are mainly structures that do not fall under planning control. Please remember to look at the official copy of the Article 4 Direction to establish the extent of controls added to a specific local heritage asset. All directions are downloadable on the Council’s website from the ‘Article 4 Direction’ webpage.
