Enhanced Security Measures for Automated Teller (“ATM”) Overseas Withdrawal Transactions Services

To strengthen security controls for the cardholder of ATM Cards and Credit Cards (including Principal Card and Supplementary Card) on ATM cash withdrawal services, as mandated by the

Hong Kong Monetary Authority, the enhancedst security measures will be adopted for overseas ATM cash withdrawal services starting from 1 March 2013.

st With effect from 1 March 2013, the overseas ATM cash withdrawal services of all ATM cards and credit cards will be pre-set as “deactivated”. You are required to perform the activation of the overseas ATM transaction function（with immediate effect）prior to using overseas ATM cash withdrawal services (including services).

To ensure you can continue to useth the overseas ATM cash withdrawal services with ATM Cards or Credit Cards. Starting from 25 February 2013, you can activate/update the overseas ATM transaction function, and set “the activation period” and “the overseas daily withdrawal limit” through following channels: - of Communications ()Limited ATMs or other JETCO ATMs identified with JETCO chip stickers in Hong Kong. - (Hong Kong) Limited Internet Banking Services (for our Bank’s Internet Banking Services Customers only). - Bank of Communications(Hong Kong) Limited branches. - Customer Services Hotline 235 95559 Information regarding activation of overseas ATM cash withdrawal function in advance: Card Type Locations of ATMs ATM network Overseas Transactions Activation * and Mainland JETCO network in ATM No ATM Cards or China Credit Cards with Worldwide ATMs Yes or VISA （include Macau and NON-JETCO network in ATM and JETCO logo Mainland China） ATM Cards or Macau* JETCO network in ATM No Credit Cards with Mainland China JETCO network in ATM Yes UnionPay and Worldwide ATMs NON-JETCO network in ATM Yes （include Macau and JETCO logo Mainland China） st * With effect from 1 March 2013, some JETCO ATMs located inside the Macau casinos cannot provide ATM cash withdrawal services through JETCO network.
