(Philly.Com) restore the public trust over democracy if the current situation per- sists. The government shall come with alternatives to adjust the huge cabinet because it is not only about salaries but travel, office, secu- rity and medical expenditures as well. The money that is spent to meet the protocols is much higher than salaries. It is a huge burden on the already exhausted exchequer. Most of the budget is made up of foreign assistance and donations. The money is supposed to be spent on developmental projects. Therefore, the government should now increase domestic reve- nues and reduce the unnecessary expenses such as travel cost. To reduce the burden on the budget, the government should merge three to four provinces into one unit. It will save money in terms of salaries and other expenses. Surely, it will help to adjust the deficit. Furthermore, corruption should be fought, especially in the departments that are generating revenues. Providing salaries to officials working on the newly created positions is a rightful thing but saving money should be the top priority. Hillary Clinton is in a tough spot on trade. As US President Barack Obama bends over backwards in an attempt to sell an international pact to the American people and Congress, everyone wants to know whether the leading Democratic candidate for president supports it. But her answer, no matter what it is, will undoubtedly cause her some bumps on the road to the White House. On Monday, trade ministers from 12 countries, including the United States, agreed to a massive trade deal called the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP). It is the larg- est free-trade deal ever negotiated by the US and covers 40 percent of the world s economy. The day after it was reached, Josh Earnest, White House press secretary, reit- erated the administration s mantra of support for TPP: if the US doesn t sign this now, China will fill the void putting America at a "significant disadvantage" econom- ically. But the Obama administra- tion s biggest fight on TPP is about to begin. In order for it to become a reality, the US Congress needs to ratify the deal by a straight yes or no vote. That's likely to hap- pen early next year, right in the middle of a heated primary cam- paign when candidates will need all the support they can get. So far, as a Democratic presi- dential candidate, Clinton has not made her position clear on TPP even though, as US secretary of state, Clinton helped lay the groundwork and even backed the deal at various times. "We think this holds out great economic op- portunities to all participating na- tions," she told reporters in Janu- ary, 2013. Explainer: Deconstructing the Trans-Pacific Partnership Her husband, former US pres- ident Bill Clinton, signed the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) in 1993. NAFTA eased barriers on things like automobiles, textiles and agricultural products. But it also made it easier for US companies to re-locate some of its operations to Mexico. PARIS: Known for its pursuit of new technology to make clothes, fashion label Issey Miyake presented a new take on its staple pleats on Friday with colorful three-dimensional outfits made with fabric baked in the oven just like bread. Speaking backstage at the spring/summer 2016 Paris Fashion Week show, designer Yoshiyuki Miyamae said the fashion house used an innovative process to make folds and pleats: baked stretch , which gives fabric a new form and softer texture. We put glue onto [the] fabric and then we printed the colour, then we put this in the oven The glue expands like bread, he said while holding samples of the different stages in making the clothes. The high temperature makes the glue mould the pleat into the material. The result on the catwalk was wavy pleated tops, knee-length dresses and skirts, cut at the bottom like curves that softly moved along with the models wearing them. We made this material three-dimensional so if the model [is] walking, it is [a] jumping dress People can see movement, Miyamae added. In another look, the fashion house, founded by Japanese designer Issey Miyake in the 1970s, presented colourful block jackets, pencil skirts, dresses and handbags adorned with fringes. The inspiring tropical fauna theme was evident in the line s colour palette coral, aquamarine, orange, dark pink and yellow. The line itself was called Botanical Delights . Paris Fashion Week runs until October 7.

Quinton "Rampage" Jackson's fu- ture as a fighter doesn't look good. Jackson, 37, returned to the UFC in April after spending 2013- 2014 fighting for the UFC's rival, Viacom-owned Bellator. He would leave Bellator after only three fights, citing breach of contract and quickly re-signing with the UFC. The UFC booked Jackson's return fight for the co-main event of UFC 186 against Fabio Mal- donado. Unfortunately for fans, days before the fight, Jackson was slapped with a lawsuit from Via- com citing their own breach of con- tract. Then, in a surprising fight- week twist, a New Jersey Superi- or Court Judge overturned the pre- liminary ruling, making Jackson eligible to compete. And the fight was back on. Jackson won a unanimous de- cision against Maldonado, in what would be his fourth win in a row. And according to the former light heavyweight champ who is still battling Viacom in court that might have been the last time you ever see "Rampage" Jackson fight again. "This is the thing people need to realize: I am not a manager, I am a fighter," Jackson explained to the MMA Hour. "And my manager is very good at what he does. Via- com breached their contract and they had 45 days to fix the breach. We gave them 90-something days [and] they didn't fix the breach. So, in my contract, I was now allowed to terminate my contract if Via- com didn't fix the breach. Because they promised movies, pro wres- tling, reality shows...everybody saw what happened to Bjorn Reb- ney; he got canned. Scott Coker came in, the company was turned upside down and my contract got [expletive] on. That's all out there. That's common sense. "So for some reason Viacom, they didn't want to fix things. So my manager terminated it, and he took everything to the UFC. And the UFC said, 'Yup, he's legal to sign,' and Viacom didn't agree with the termination. So, I don't know if my manager missed one step going to the courts or whatnot, but they tried to put a hold on my fight. I went to the courts and I got that overturned and I fought. And I did that just for the fans. "Now I'm tied up and going to Former Giro winner court and stuff like that, and I feel EIJING POLLUTION HAT like they're just trying to tie me up so I don't fight.
