Summary: The data set is a general overview of information on Balayan Bay and its adjacent Bays of Pagapas, Talin, Janao and Nasugbu Batangas, Philippines.The Integrated Coastal Management Plan for 2004-2023 aims to develop and sustain high level of environmental quality in the Balayan Bay Region while promoting responsible multiple use and access of its resources. Implementation of this plan is guided by: Application of Sustainable Development Principle; Integration of Coastal Planning and Management Systems; Application of Precautionary Principle; Institutionalization of Multi-stakeholder Partnerships; and, Establishment of Sustainable Financing Mechanism. Publication was made possible through the joint efforts of Provincial Government -Environment and Natural Resources Office of Batangas and World Wide Fund for Nature-Philippines.
