One of Canada’s most treasured artists, Sarah McLachlan returns to British Columbia this spring continuing her Afterglow tour that began in the summer of 2004.

Sarah McLachlan is set to release Afterglow Live, a live CD/DVD set available November 23rd. Just certified five times platinum in Canada for her 2003 release, Afterglow, the live CD and DVD chronicles McLachlan’s 2004 summer tour, which kicked off July 5th in Seattle and ended on September 10th in her hometown of Vancouver. This was the first time McLachlan has been on the road since the hugely successful and influential 1999 Lillith Tour. The live CD and DVD are composed of material recorded from her two sold out concerts at Toronto’s Molson Amphitheatre.

The Afterglow tour showcases Sarah’s greatest hits along with music from her 2003 release Afterglow. This album was Sarah’s first in seven years and she has already enjoyed hits with “Fallen,” “Stupid” and presently “World on Fire.” Afterglow has sold over 4 million copies worldwide to date. Sarah has sold over 22 million records worldwide since her recording career began with her debut release, Touch, in 1988 and is a 3 time Grammy award winner. The Sarah-founded Lillith Fair tour brought together 2 million people over its 3 year history and raised more than $7 million for charities.
