West hollywood Celebrate Queer arts June Pride Month festival with the May/June One City One Pride 2013 Queer Arts FestivAl presented by the City of West hollyWood through its Arts and Cultural Affairs Commission lesbian and Gay Advisory Board transgender Advisory Board West Hollywood Queer Arts Festival the City of West hollywood, also known as as the Creative City, is excited to celebrate June Pride month with the one City one Pride Queer arts festival. held throughout late May and June, but centered on the dates of May 31 – June 16, this festival comprises both free and ticketed events featuring theatre, ffiilm, music, Queer spoken word, visual art, a parade and much more! for the ffiifirst year, the festival has a theme in ‘the sacred and the Profane,’ which explores the dichotomies of Arts the lGBT experience: a blending of the spiritual and the carnal, of things holy and wicked, and of things granted and taken away.
