Program Overview The Business Administration major is a flexible degree program developing the skills and abilities necessary to assume the duties of administrative positions in private, public and nonprofit entities by completing courses work in several functional areas of business.

Students may select courses from several business administration areas to build their major area of concentration. Courses in , , , marketing and finance are just a few of the many that may be selected to develop an emphasis.

Business Administration is one of the most popular majors in the School of Business because of the flexibility and the many career opportunities. The major provides knowledge, skills and competencies to prepare individuals for work as administrators in a variety of organizations including: health care, manufacturing, financial services, and government enterprises.

Admissions Requirements • Completed Admission Application from LU-Tulsa • A minimum of 48 transferable college credit hours • A minimum 2.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale • All official transcripts from previous college(s)

*With an Associate of Arts and an Associate of Science degree from an Oklahoma college, all general requirements are completed; Applied Science degrees are not fully articulated.

Degree Requirements • 124 credit hours • A maximum of 64 of these hours may be earned at a junior college • All BBA candidates must complete the general education courses prescribed by LU-Tulsa • 42 hours of common business core courses prescribed by the LU School of Business • A cumulative grade point average of 2.00 or higher is required for graduation • 30 credit hour residency (Must be taken at Langston University)
