This design led project to establish a comprehensive management framework for the Adelaide Park Lands demonstrated a high level of collaboration. The documentation was extremely well presented, with a focus on graphics not words, and incorporated a fundamental philosophy of ‘Park Lands without borders’. The project has responded to the expectations of a wide range of users, and has fostered relationships over a number of years with key stakeholders and adjoining councils. The judges were impressed with the priority rating for each project and the transparency around the proposed outcomes which are intended to improve the Park Lands in meaningful ways.
