Program Fri 13 th March Arrivals to Athens, Greece where our crew will be there waiting for you at the airport. Sat 14th March 10:00 Sprint race in the famous bohemian quarter Plaka, down by Acropolis. Free time for lunch and sightseeing Plaka and Acropolis. Overnight in Athens.
Sun 15th March 8:00 Check out and departure by bus to Meteora, UNESCO World Heritage. 14:00 Light lunch in hotel Famissi Eden. 16:00 Sprint race in Kalambaka (Meteora). Free time for dinner. Overnight in Kalambaka.
Mon 16th March 9:00 Check out and guided tour, visit to 3 main monasteries of Meteora Free time for lunch 14:30 Departure to North Macedonia, Ohridsko lake. Accommodation in Hotel Drim in Struga. 19:30 Banquet dinner in the hotel with wine tasting.
Tue 17th March 8:30 Departure to middle distance forest race in Prilep. First start 11:00. After race lunch in a Macedonian National restaurant. After lunch departure for sightseeing in Ohrid old town with photo orienteering. Overnight in Hotel Drim in Struga, Ohrid lake.
Wed 18th March 9:00 Check out and departure to Albania, Tirana. Free time for lunch. 14:00 Departure by bus to the race 15:00 Middle distance park forest race in Tirana. Overnight in Tirana
Thu 19th March 10:00 Check out and bus sightseeing in Tirana, with visit to Kruje Free time for lunch break North Macedonia, Ohridsko lake, hotel Drim. Check in, dinner, over night stay.
Fri 20th March Morning: Breakfast Bus departure to Prilep. Morning middle distance forest race, and afternoon sprint distance in Prilep city center. Overnight in hotel Drim, Ohridsko lake.
Sat 21st March Morning: Breakfast Walking sightseeing in Struga. Afternoon Sprint event in Ohrid old city. Overnight in hotel Drim, Ohridsko lake.
Sun 22nd March Morning: Breakfast Check out, departure to Skoplje at 09,00h (170km distance) Around 11,30h arrival to Skoplje. Seightseeing in Skoplje city center and old city. Departures from airport Skoplje.

Terrain: urban are with paved surface. The city varies a lot with some flat and rather easy technical parts, alternated to more hilly and tricky areas. Recommended running shoes, NO orienteering shoes!

STAGE 2 – Kalambaka, Meteori, Greece
Race type: Urban-Sprint distance Date: Sunday 15th March 2020

Map Scale: 1:4000 Contours interval: 5m
Terrain: urban are with paved surface alternated to small parks. The town presents flat parts, alternated to more hilly areas right under the famous Meteora rocks. Recommended running shoes, NO orienteering shoes!

STAGE 3 – Prilep, North Macedonia
Race type: Forest-Middle distance Date: Tuesday 17th March 2020

Map Scale: 1:7500 Contours interval: 5m
Terrain: Technically and physically demanding terrain of open, semi-open areas and pine forest filled with numerous rock boulders will provide you with many different challenges. Runability and visibility are great. Recommended orienteering shoes with or without metal studs.

STAGE 4 – Parku i madh, Tirana, Albania
Race type: Forest-Middle distance Date: Wednesday 18th March 2020
Assembly area: “Parku i madh” - Park at the artificial lake GPS: 41.312646, 19.813734 First Start: 15:00 Distance from assembly area to start: 100m Distance from finish to assembly area: 600m
Map Scale: 1:7500 Contours interval: 5m
Terrain: Technically and physically demanding terrain in the forest part, runnability varies from very fast to slow, park area: open and semi open areas, childrens’ playground, good to very good runnability and visibility, big height differences, range of paved roads all over the map. Recommended orienteering shoes without metal studs or trail running shoes.
