Ref No:10171/2012/MH5(Phase-II) Date:27-07-2015 As authorised by the Traffic Advisory Committee of Coimbatore District, The Commissioner, Coimbatore City Municipal corporation (CCMC) invites proposals from individuals, sole proprietary concerns, partnership firm, corporate body, co-operative society, trust or Consortium of any of the above entities joined together for the work of “Operation and maintenance of the Traffic Signals with CCTV backups to be erected in the Coimbatore City Police limit against advertisement rights ”. The Scope of the work is to operate and maintain the traffic signals along with CCTV backups to be erected in prime locations against commercial advertisement rights within the Coimbatore City Police limits on behalf of the Traffic Advisory Committee, Coimbatore District. The Coimbatore city municipal Corporation is inviting Request for Proposals from individuals, sole proprietary concerns, partnership firm, corporate body, co-operative society, trust or Consortium of any of the above entities joined together for the above mentioned work . The interested bidding firms should necessarily furnish the information indicating their qualifications along with their credentials in proof of their experience. The bid document containing the Eligibility Criteria, General Conditions, Instructions to Bidders, Special Conditions of Contract, etc., can be downloaded free of cost from the Government of Tamil Nadu’s official website namely www.ccmc.gov.in from 07-08-2015 onwards up to 24-08-2015.The Bid should reach this office of the undersigned on or before 25-08-2015 @ 3.00 P.M. in a sealed cover with superscription as “OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE OF THE TRAFFIC SIGNALS WITH CCTV BACKUPS TO BE ERECTED IN THE COIMBATORE CITY POLICE LIMITS AGAINST ADVERTISEMENT RIGHTS ” and should be delivered to the address mentioned below: The Commissioner, COIMBATORE CITY MUNICIPAL CORPORATION, Big Bazaar Street, Coimbatore – 641001. 4 Telephone No: 0422-2396026 & Fax No: 0422-2390167 Email: commr.coimbatore @tn.gov.in For any clarifications in this regard, the interested bidding firms may contact the Executive Engineer (Planning), Coimbatore City Municipal Corporation for further information during office hours on all working days from 07-08-2015 to 25-08-2015. As authorised by the Traffic Advisory Committee of Coimbatore District, The Commissioner, Coimbatore City Municipal Corporation (CCMC) invites bids from individuals, sole proprietary concerns, partnership firm, corporate body, co-operative society, trust or Consortium of any of the above entities joined together dealing in Operation and Maintenance of the traffic signals with CCTV backups in Coimbatore City Police Limit for a period of three years against advertisement rights located in Tamil Nadu for the following works through Sealed tender process as mentioned below: Sl. The bidding documents can be downloaded free of cost from the Government of Tamil Nadu’s official website namely www.ccmc.gov.in from 07 -08-2015 onwards up to 17.45 Hrs on 24-08-2015 and shall submit their bids up to 15.00 Hours on 25 -08 -2015. 4. A pre-bid meeting in this regard will be held on 14-08 -2015 at 11.00 A.M at the Corporation Main office. The Commissioner, Coimbatore City Municipal Corporation reserves the right to accept or reject any EOI proposals without assigning any reasons there for. 5. Tender should be submitted through sealed cover. 6. The bidding will be conducted through National Competitive Bidding and all payments will be made only in Indian Rupees. 7. A two cover bidding procedure will be adopted. The first cover containing the Technical Proposals will be opened in the presence of bidder or their authorized representatives who choose to attend on the time of opening of the bids at the address given below at 16.00 Hours on 25-08-2015 . The bids submitted after the due date will be summarily rejected. Due to unforeseen circumstances, if the tender date happens to be a holiday the tenders will be opened in the next working day. 6 8. The first bid cover (Cover-1) will consist of the EMD and a technical bid without any reference to prices and the second cover will consist of their financial bid only . After ensuring of the availability of the required bid security, the Commissioner will evaluate each bidder who meets the mandatory Pre- qualification criteria and whose technical bids are substantially responsive. The financial bids of only those bidders whose bids are found technically responsive and acceptable will be opened in the presence of responsive bidder or their authorized representatives who choose to attend on the date and time to be intimated by the CCMC. 9. Validity of Tender: To be valid up to 60 days after the due date fixed for submission of the bids. 10. Interested bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding documents at the office of the Executive Engineer (Planning), Coimbatore City Municipal Corporation at the address given below in all working days from 10.00 Hours to 17.45 Hours . 11. The Commissioner, Coimbatore City Municipal Corporation reserves the rights to either postpone or reject any tender without assigning any reasons whatsoever. 12. Instructions to Bidders 1) The bidders are advised to read the Bid documents carefully before bidding. The terms and conditions mentioned in the Bid documents will carry the meaning as assigned to them. In case of any dispute on any of the terms and conditions, the decision of the Commissioner, CCMC will be the final and binding on the bidders. 2) The Commissioner, CCMC reserves the right to alter or modify the terms and conditions of the bid at any time without notice. 3) Conditional offers will be summarily rejected. 4) The bidders are advised to visit the site of existing Traffic Signals with CCTV backups for which they are tendering to assess the revenue realization expected from advertisement on the Traffic Signals. It is presumed that the bidders have quoted with the full knowledge of the work to be carried out and other obligations the tenderer should discharge. No correspondence in this behalf will be entertained 5) The bidder should remit an amount of Rs. 1,00,000/- (Rupees One Lakh Only) as Earnest Money Deposit for the package in the form of Demand Draft from any reputed banks drawn in favour of “The Commissioner, Coimbatore City Municipal Corporation , Coimbatore” along with the bid. 6) The successful bidder should enter into an agreement with the CCMC within 7 days from the date of issue of letter of acceptance failing which the Earnest Money Deposit paid by the bidder will be forfeited. The Commissioner, CCMC will have all powers to cancel the tender and re- tenders will be called for as per the decision of the Commissioner. 7) The Successful bidder should remit an amount of Rs. 50,000/- (Rupees--- Fifty Thousand only) as security deposit against the Asset for the package separately in the form of Bank Guarantee & ASD for an amount of Rs 50,000/-( Rupee Fifty Thousand only ) from any Reputed banks in favour of “The Commissioner, Coimbatore City Municipal Corporation, Coimbatore.” on the day of execution of agreement. 8) The space provided for display of TRAFFIC SIGNALS with CCTV backups shall be as shown in the list enclosed. 9) The CCMC reserves the right to remove any Traffic Signals or advertisement board whenever found objectionable. 8 10) The successful bidder shall not transfer his right or business interests to any person or persons or concerns. Else the bid will be cancelled and the Security deposit will be forfeited. 11) The rates should be quoted both in words and figures. If any discrepancy found in the rates quoted in words and figures, highest of above will prevail and no requests for downward revision will be entertained. 12) The Commissioner, CCMC reserves the right to cancel the contract without giving any notice, if the bidder fails to abide by the contract conditions.

The pattern of theft in urban areas tends to be unevenly distributed and follows a spatio-temporal distribution. The present study assesses and explains the spatio- temporal distribution of AVT in Coimbatore Urban of Tamil Nadu, India from 2003-2006. Crime Pattern Analysis for AVT attempts to quantify the spatio-temporal distribution of crime. Through this exploratory data analysis, hotspots based on point pattern analysis through Kernel Density Estimation were identified. The changes in spatial distribution of AVT during the month of the year and day of the week were mapped. An attempt was made to investigate the relationship between the place of theft and recovery of motor vehicles within the study area. The results of the study clearly depict the spatial density of AVT with temporal variations in the urban regions showing concentrated hotspots. The present study provides a significant insight to the approach of Crime Pattern Analysis, which can be employed for effective Offence determination.

Coimbatore was taken by the Polygars in 1800 and was an important stronghold in the Polygar Wars. It was made capital of Coimbatore district in 1865. The municipality of Coimbatore was created in 1866 as per the Town Improvements Act 1865 with Robert Stanes as the first Chairman.[15][16] Stanes pioneered the industrialization of Coimbatore, establishing a number of textile mills. Daily one Tirukkural was written in College notice board. Shift-I and Shift-II students, teaching and non- teaching staff were benefited by this programme. 2. Heartfulness Meditation Training programme was organised every wednesday afternoon 2pm to 3pm at Government Arts College, Coimbatore. The heartfulness awareness training was given to NSS students by Mrs. Eswari, Retaird Educational Officer, from Heartfulness Institute, SRCM, Coimbatore. She explained the importance of meditation in students life . 3. International yoga day celebration was organized by Brahma Kumarikal Kovai on 21.6.2019 at V.O.C Park, Coimbatore NSS students and Programme Officer participated in this event. The same day evening Heartfulness Institute organized International yoga day programme in hotel #6, Coimbatore, NSS students and programme officer participated. 4. A one day camp was organised in Government Arts College campus cleaning work on 5.7.2019. 100 NSS volunteers and Programme Officer actively participated in the campus cleaning programme and cleaned the college campus. 5. Coimbatore City Police Commissioner launched Drug Control special Team contact number programme on 8.7.2019 at Commissioner Office, Coimbatore. NSS PO participated in this event. 6. Helmet Awarness Rally was organized by “NIZHAL MAIYAM” on 21.7.2019 from Goundampalayam bus stop to Goundar Mills Bus stop. This programme was inaugurated by Mr. Mani, Inspecter, Thudiyalur. NSS PO and 150 volunteers participated and created awareness on wearing helmet.
