At the other end of the scale, it is only the second time a Serbian club has qualifi ed, after FK Partizan in 2003/04, and the third appearance for Slovakia, after 1997/98 (FC Kosice) and 2005/06 (Artmedia Bratislava).

At its meeting in Monaco on 27 August, the Professional Football Strategy Council (PFSC) agreed to step up the fi ght against the growing menace of match-fi xing in European football and adopted the following resolution.
