A Welcome and an Invitation from Our President... Welcome to Madonna University. Having celebrated 55 years since our establishment, we have reached a new plateau of service and accomplishments. We are pleased to offer you a rich array of academic programs taught by qualified and enthusiastic faculty members who understand the importance of the “college years.” Throughout the past five decades we have multiplied the undergraduate offerings, strengthened the technological components of the curriculum, expanded athletic offerings, diversified student clubs and activities, and worked to provide an environment suited to students of varying needs. Having graduated over 17,000 students, we are confident that we can prepare you for life and a career in the 21st century. I invite you to become acquainted with the faculty, who through years of study and analysis, are prepared to deliver an academic program which is grounded in the liberal arts, yet designed to provide you with career preparation essential for entry, re-entry, or promotion in the world of work. Service learning comprises an important part of the curriculum, inviting students to become engaged in all facets of the community: health and wellness, public safety, business, child care, education, nutrition, leadership, politics, government and other areas. The Student Services area, grounded in a Catholic Christian approach to life, hosts a medley of activities which develop you as students discovering new relationships. Working as teams, students get involved in rebuilding homes through Habitat for Humanity, serving the needy especially around holidays, engaging in dialogue during retreats, and sponsoring activities for neighborhood groups. These challenges become fun activities when they are done among developing friendships. For those interested in sports, you will find a special cadre of coaches, assistants, and student athletes who combine the competitive enjoyment of sports with the daily learning process. A member of the Wolverine Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA), Madonna University athletes have been conference champs and competed on a
