1 Brief Summary of the Project 1. Introduction M/S. Adilabad Alloys Brief Summary of the Project 1. Introduction M/s. Adilabad Alloys & Associated Industries Limited is proposing installation of Vertical Shaft Kiln (VSK) Plant of 100 TPD Clinker & 165 TPD of Cement and 100 TPD Lime Kiln at Jainath Mandal, Adilabad district, Telangana State. 2. Screening Category As per EIA Notification dated 14 th Sept., 2006 as amended from time to time, this project falls under Category - B, S. No. 3 (Material Production), Project Activity ‘3 (b)’ Cement Plants. 3. Brief Description of Project Location Details: Mandal: Jainath District: Adilabad State: Telangana Area Details: Total Project Area: 55 Acres (22.26 ha) Greenbelt / Plantation Area (ha): 33% of the total project area (i.e. 18.15 acres / 7.34 ha) will be developed under greenbelt / plantation. No National Park, Wildlife Sanctuary, Biosphere Reserve, Protected Forests (PF) falls within 10 km radius from the project site. Reserved forest falls within 10 km radius from the project site are as below- o Satnala Reserved Forest (~4.0 km in SE direction) o Yapalguda Reserve Forest (~6.5 km in SW direction) Water Bodies falls within 10 km radius from the project site are as below: o Penganga River (~9.5 km in NE direction) o Sathnala Dam Reservoir (~6.0 km in SSE direction) o Satnala Right Bank Canal (~1.0 km in South direction) o Lakshmipur Nala (~7.0 km in NE direction) o Satnala (~8.0 km in WNW direction) o Metta Vagu (~7.0 km in WSW direction) o Mathadi Vagu (~8.5 km in West direction) o Nallantiya Vagu (~0.5 km in North direction) Cost Details: Total Cost of the Proposed Project: Rs. 1927 Lakh (VSK Plant - 1008 Lacs & Lime Kiln - 919 Lacs) Basic Requirements for the Project Water Requirement (KLD): The water requirement for Vertical Shaft Kiln (VSK) Plant will be 20 KLD and for Lime Kiln will be 10 KLD. Source: Ground Water 1 Power Requirement (MW): Total power requirement will be around 1.3 MW; which will be sourced from Power Grid, out of which 1.0 MW would be used for VSK Plant and 0.3 MW would be used for Lime Kiln. Source: Power Grid. Manpower Requirement: The estimated manpower requirement for Vertical Shaft Kiln (VSK) plant will be 42 persons and for Lime Kiln will be 49 persons, preference will be given to the nearby villages. Source: Unskilled / Semi-skilled - local area, skilled - outside/ local. Raw Material Requirement: Raw materials required for the proposed project is limestone which will be sourced from Captive Limestone Mine of M/s. Adilabad Alloys & Associated Industries Ltd. and open market; Iron ore / Laterite will be procured from Nagpur Butibori based Sponge Iron Plant; Bauxite will be sourced from Kalahandi (Odisha) and Bilaspur (Chhattisgarh); Gypsum (Indigenous/Imported) will be sourced from Oman & Iran via Vizag port, Synthetic gypsum plant, Chemical gypsum; Fly ash will be procured from SCCL-Singareni TPP, Jaipur, Adilabad, TSGENCO -Ramagundam TPS, Ramagundam, Karimnagar, NTPC Ramagundam, Ramagundam, NTPC-Telangana Super TPP, Ramagundam, Karimnagar and Slag will be procured from Uttam Galva Steels Ltd, Bhugaon, Maharashtra and Sunflag Iron & Steel Co. Konda Lakshman Bapuji popularly known as Telangana Gandhi (27 September 1915 - 21 September 2012) was an Indian freedom fighter who participated in theTelangana Rebellion. He died on 21 September 2012 at his residence (Jala Dhrushyam) in Hyderabad. Bapuji was born in Wankidi village, Adilabad district, Hyderabad State Famous tribal Gond hero Komaram Bheem who fought against the deadly tyranny of Nizam government and against its land grabbing activities in the forests, belongs to Adilabad district.

    State Profile Telangana State Area (Sq. km) 1,12,077 Physiography Deccan Plateau Drainage The State is drained by two major perennial rivers viz. Godavari and Krishna with several other rivers of lesser significance Irrigation As per 2011 figures, out of gross irrigated area of 29,98,798 Ha, area irrigated by ground water is 21,10,959 Ha ( 70%) surface water is 8,09,111 Ha ( 27%). Net area irrigated is 20,03,900 Ha . Out of which, area irrigated by ground water is 13,96,000 Ha(70%) , surface water is 5,54,000 Ha(28%). Rainfall Varies from 732 mm in Mahabubnagar district to 1121 mm in Adilabad district. It increases from less than 800 mm in south-west part of the state to more than 1200 mm in north and north-east part of the state. The mean annual rainfall of the state is 923 mm of which southwest monsoon season (June-September) contributes about 80% of the annual rainfall and northeast monsoon season contributes 13% of the annual rainfall. Total Districts / Mandals 10 Districts / 459 Mandals (provisional 31 districts/525 mandals) Hydrogeology : Telangana is characterized by various geological formations ranging in age from Archaean to Recent. Nearly 80 percent of the State is underlain by hard rock formations consisting of granites, gneisses, metamorphics and intrusives (Archaeans), Precambrian quartzites, shales and limestones (Cuddapahs & Kurnools), Mesozoic Deccan Trap basalts etc., while the remaining area is underlain by Gondwana sedimentaries and Sub Recent-Recent alluvium. The occurrence and movement of ground water in hard rocks is chiefly controlled by thickness of weathering and structural features like fractures and solution cavities.

Read the following O R D E R The Chief Engineer, Karimnagar Zone has proposed for erection of 132/33 KV Sub-Station at Koutala in Komaram Bheem Asifabad District as per the instructions of the Chairman & Managing Director/TSNPDCL/Warangal in review meeting held on 09-07-2019 FN. The chief General Manager (Projects)/TSNPDCL has also furnished the proposal for 132/33KV Sub-station along with authenticated load data and justification for reliable power supply to consumers and Lift irrigation schemes. Further, the Superintending Engineer/Operation/TSNPDCL has stated that the existing 33KV feeders are very lengthy and causing more interruptions. The duration of interruption is more due to no alternate source to the feeders. The construction of 33KV interlinking lines were held up due to objection of forest department. The low voltage problems are arising in the 33KV feeders connected to lift irrigation schemes. To avoid power interruption and to give better supply to the area, it is very much essential to shorten the 33KV lines by erecting new 132/33KV Sub-station at Koutala. 2. In view of the above circumstances, the 132/33 KV substation at Koutala is necessitated for providing reliable power supply to the consumers & Lift Irrigation schemes and to avoid the low voltage problems & frequent interruptions in the scheme area. 3. After careful consideration, TSTRANSCO accords administrative approval for the above scheme at a total cost of Rs.5655.58 Lakhs considering latest approved material / equipment rates with 10% of price escalation & GST @ 18% as per the break up detailed below.

All the children in the age group of 6-11 will be in primary schools, younger children in ECE and elder dropouts in NFE centers. The schools will be provided with required number of teachers. The primary school will be educational complex with ECE, alternative schooling facility also. The younger children between age group of 3-5 will be playing and interacting with their elder brothers and sisters. The atmosphere of the school will be cheerful with playful children doing activities and projects on their own. The classrooms are interactive, attractive and interesting filled v^th displays of children’s work.

    GROUND WATER YEAR BOOK (2020-2021) TELANGANA STATE 1. INTRODUCTION Central Ground Water Board has taken up the task of ground water development, augmentation, management, protection and regime monitoring both in terms of quality and quantity. In order to arrive at proper parametric indices of evaluation and judicious development of ground water resources, the Board is monitoring National Hydrograph Stations (NHS) on long term basis since 1969 through a network of wells (Dug wells and Piezometers) for studying its long term behaviour due to influence of rainfall and ground water development. A historical database on the ground water levels and water quality has been developed over a period of time since 1969. The ground water regime monitoring mainly comprises measurement of water levels and temperature, four times in a year viz., in the months of May (pre-monsoon), August (mid- monsoon), November (post-monsoon) and January and collection of water samples during May every year, for chemical analysis. As on 31-03-2020, there were 748 operational Ground Water Monitoring Wells (GWMS) (306 dug wells and 442 piezometers). During the year (2020-21), 11 (Dug wells) Ground water monitoring wells were abandoned. As on March 2021, the status of monitoring stations is 737 wells, out of which, 295 are Dug wells and 442 Piezometers (Annexure- I to II). The dug wells tapping unconfined aquifers are mostly confined to village limits, which are used for domestic purpose. Some of these are community wells and the rest belongs to private individuals.The piezometers tapping unconfined and confined aquifers are constructed under various projects and exploration programmes by the department and are monitored manually four times a year.The location of network of monitoring wells is presented in the Fig.1.1.
