NEWSPAPERS Four main newspapers are circulated in Warren County, one is published within the County. Warren Sentinel with a circulation of around 6,000 is released on Wednesdays. Other newspapers include: The Northern Virginia Daily is published in Strasburg. The paper is distributed Monday through Saturday in the morning, with a total circulation of 17,000. The Winchester Star is distributed Monday through Friday evenings and Saturday morning. It's daily circulation is over 23,000. The Washington Post has a total circulation, daily and Sunday, of 5,000,000 and is available in Warren County. Other daily newspapers received in Warren County are The New York Daily News , The New York Post , The New York Times , The Richmond Times Dispatch , The Wall Street Journal , and USA Today . The one monthly newspaper that Warren County receives is the North Valley Business Journal. The Warren County Report is a free journal published locally twice a month. All newspapers are available online. B. RADIO STATIONS There are three radio stations in Warren County. Both are in or near Front Royal. WFQX (FM) Frequency: 99.3 mhz Power: 3 kw Network: ABC Format: Contemporary Hit Radio WFTR (AM) Frequency: 1450 khz Power: 1 kw WZRV (FM) Frequency: 95.3 mhz The River Power: 6 kw Network: Talk Net (FM) Format: County There are many other radio stations which reach Warren County listeners, including several from Winchester and others from Washington, D.C. TELEVISION STATIONS Cable television is offered to Warren County residents in and near Front Royal by Comcast. The local community channels are Comcast 15, 16 and 18 in Front Royal. Satellite television is provided by Dish Network, Via Satellite, DirecTV. Television stations which can be regularly received by Warren County residents include: Harrisonburg, Va. Washington, D.C. TELEPHONE AND TELEGRAPH SERVICES Telephone service is provided to Warren County residents by Century Link. Mobile telephone services are provided by AT&T, Sprint, Verizon. Long Distance service: equal access Internet access is available through Comcast, Century Link, Via Satellite, Sprint, NetZero, among others. Telegram service is provided to Warren County residents by Western Union. E. POSTAL SERVICE AND PACKAGE DELIVERY Warren County has four United States Post Offices, with locations in Front Royal, Bentonville, Linden, and Riverton. UPS has a facility in Front Royal, with drop-off points around Town; and FedEx has a facility in Winchester with pick-up sites throughout the Town of Front Royal.
