The purpose of this audit is to: - - Identify current issues and problems in the study area related to disability facilities - Suggest improvements for audited facilities To achieve this objective, MBSJ has referred to the Malaysian Standard (MS1184: 2014) in conducting 5 series of barrier free audit. Location that been audit so far are: - Commercial Area USJ 10 (Taipan) - LRT SS16 - LRT Bandar Kinrara - LRT Pusat Bandar Puchong - KTM Serdang SDGs INITIATIVES : EXECUTIVE INFORMATION SYSTEM (EIS) ❑ The executive information system (EIS) is used as a tool for management and planning, control and EIS SYSTEM DEVELOPMENT CONCEPT development monitoring ❑ This EIS development will display both 'spatial' and 'non-spatial' information and manipulate existing geographical data and integrate with non- spatial data from systems in the MBSJ EIS system integration: ❑ E-License ❑ E-Ratings ❑ i-Responz (Complain) ❑ Assessment Tax ❑ E-Pusara ❑ E-Quarters ❑ Special Parking Rental ❑ Dog License ❑ Building Permit SDGs INITIATIVES : SJ RIVERFRONT Mission To make the river edge as a clean,beautiful And valuable space for thec ommunity and the City Objectives IN IMPLEMENTATION •To clean the river edge from illegal waste dumpsite,illegal structures and thick bushes. •To provide basic park facilities •To create abiodiverse riverine landscape •To regulate up keeping of the public space Local Issues •Reserves are under other government agencies •Waste being dump on various spots along the river. •Illegal structures squatting along the river •Lack of socialspace for local communities Potentials •Available green spaces along the river reserves •Local communities support to the effort •Local stakeholders to draw out assistance SDGs INITIATIVES : SMART GEN MBSJ implemented the Smart Generation (Smart Gen) program in 2017. The program is attended by teachers and students from primary and secondary schools located under the MBSJ administration. Smart Gen program objectives: • Create a good school environment • Foster and implement best practices for waste management and resource reuse among • Build future generations of people who are sensitive to environmental cleanliness, environmental sustainability and sustainable development. • Forming an 'agent of change' to transform today's society into a vibrant society.
