J Cancer Stud and Therap 01(02): 45–54. Abstract Tocotrienol-Rich Fraction (TRF), which is vitamin E from palm oil, has been reported to have anticancer effects. Previous studies have shown that TRF supplementation downregulates the expression of special AT-rich sequence-binding protein 1 (SATB1) gene in murine Breast Cancer cells (BC). SATB1 is a unique AT-rich binding protein, which coordinates expression of a number of genes responsible for promoting metastasis in cancer cells.
