| WWW.MASTEREIGN.COM OUR STORIES

SINGAPORE YOUTH FESTIVAL We have worked with schools to train, develop and prepare their students for the Singapore Youth Festival (Drama). Since 2008, we have garnered under our belt various awards ranging from Bronze to Gold. In 2015, we partnered with three schools, out of which one was awarded Certificate of Distinction and the other two, Certificate of Accomplishment. Throughout the training process, the students had displayed their skills, passion, perseverance, creativity, focus, discipline, confidence and teamwork to act, showcase and celebrate their talents through theatre.

. “The Mastereign team has been very accommodating to the school’s requests. Despite various challenges in scheduling and unforeseen circumstances, the team was quick to respond and work together with the school to come up with the best possible solutions. The trainers were professional and well-equipped in fulfilling their responsibilities. What stood out the most was their dedication in bringing out the best in the students both in their discovery of theatre and for their performance. The team also demonstrated great initiative by providing fresh ideas for 2013’s Festival such as screening PowerPoint videos of the students as a precursor to the individual plays, and in doing up display boards for each class to help showcase the students’ efforts. They were creative in their vision and interpretation of the Plays so that each piece had its own feel and personality. The overall performances for this year’s Drama Night received warm responses from both school personnel and parents and it has been a pleasure to be able to work with the Mastereign Drama team to make the event a success. Thank you.”

| WWW.MASTEREIGN.COM MUSIC Through the years, Mastereign Centre of Performing Arts (COPA) Music has successfully enabled many students with or without musical abilities to develop the skills and knowledge to perform and compose music. We do this by presenting music education to our students in a manner where their learning needs are met.

For the musically inclined, students will find themselves challenged conceptually and stretched in their techniques when they have to master a difficult instrument or a piece of difficult music. For the average student, they will have fun crashing and banging on drums made from dustbins to produce music with precise tempo and pulsating rhythms.

Many of our music trainers are experienced professional performers. It is the love for educating students NAC-AEP ENDORSED PROGRAMMES AVAILABLE that motivate them to bring the best music education to the schools. The National Arts Council (NAC) believes that all students should have access to quality arts education programmes. Its arts education mission is to develop students’ potential for creativity and expression through the arts as well as deepen their understanding of the arts and culture. Programmes under the NAC-Arts Education Programme are eligible for grant subsidy. Log on to aep.nac.gov.sg to view the range of Mastereign’s literary arts programmes endorsed and co-funded by NAC.
