In 2007, we spearheaded a Train-the-Trainer (Level 1) course which to date has reached its 56th run. In the past 10 years, this 16-hour course has aligned our associate trainers to MOE’s pedogocial direction It has provided them with the most up-to-date knowledge and classroom management skills to excel in their services to the schools. To ensure that our associate trainers stay relevant in their competence, we have a continous stream of Train-the-Trainer (Level 2) workshops each year, helmed by our in-house Programme Directors and external specialists. PURPOSE-DRIVEN PROJECTS Mastereign’s whole school purpose-driven, values-centric holistic projects • Cater to the holistic development of students • Teach them to be responsible for their learning experiences • Help them understand the “whys” (principles) behind the “whats” (skills) • Deepen their character growth and development • Motivate them to finish every project well Some examples of purpose-driven projects are beautifying the school compounds with art works, putting on creative performances, producing promotional videos for school events and serving the community. They give students different contexts to apply their skills and serve their community in a purposeful and significant way. 4 | WWW.MASTEREIGN.COM DANCE At Mastereign Dance, we are committed to the education of dance through our extensive curriculum and experience, where we share the love of dance with the students through a diverse variety of dance disciplines. Our team is fully committed to the students’ development and training, both in the aspects of character and dance technique. Our group of professional instructors brings their expertise and knowledge to the classroom, positively impacting students by introducing them to the world of dance. NAC-AEP ENDORSED PROGRAMMES AVAILABLE The National Arts Council (NAC) believes that all students should have access to quality arts education programmes. Its arts education mission is to develop students’ potential for creativity and expression through the arts as well as deepen their understanding of the arts and culture. Programmes under the NAC-Arts Education Programme are eligible for grant subsidy. We aim to develop students’ character and self-confidence through our carefully crafted programmes. Many of our school projects have cumulated in performance showcases both in and outside of school. Mastereign COPA Dance was also awarded the opportunity to conduct a K-Pop Dance workshop for Principals and Vice-Principals of schools in the West Zone in 2014, where our instructors received praise and recognition from participants. Our experienced instructors have also produced consistent results in major competitions such as Singapore Youth Festival (SYF) and DanceWorks!
