Now, there are over 7,000 disc golf courses around the world with over 5,900 courses in the US and Canada. The growth of disc golf is now visible everywhere. 2016 saw several appearances on ESPN Sportscenter while Philo Brathwaite’s Albatross became the shot seen around the world. Google “Philo albatross” and you’ll be amazed. If there’s a course near you, it’s likely that there are players looking to buy discs, bags, and more. Our name has been synonymous with disc golf for over 33 years because we know what players want. Introduced in 1987, the Roc was among the first discs that gave players unprecedented control AND distance. Compared to many discs available then, a new Roc was overstable and could be trusted more than any other disc. Just like today, players would bag a variety of Rocs because they truly do get better with age. The Roc transformed the game. Throughout the years, discs have come and gone, but the Roc has spread its wings and soared. It has become legendary, like the mythical bird of lore. The Roc celebrates 30 years of amazing flights in 2017.
