11th UK Boogie Woogie International Festival: 3rd- 5th July

Located in the heart of rural Dorset with stunning countryside and a long tradition in boogie woogie and blues music, the festival takes place in Sturminster Newton with the town coming alive with music and dance for 3 days. T in the Park: 10th-12th July

This is Scotland’s biggest music festival, around since 1994 and is held at Strathallancastle in Pertshire. Wilderness Festival: 6th- 9th August

Wilderness carries a hedonistic vibe but chilled with a variety of workshops, banquets, spoken-word events and arts activities. Tramlines Festival: 24th -26th July

The Tramlines festival is one of those events that blends in all kinds of musical genres, from Indie through to Urban, but expect the majority of the names on the bill to be contemporary stars as opposed to classic. www.tramlines.org.uk

V-Festival: 22nd- 23rd August

Green Man Festival: 20th- 23rd August

A four day event with three days of music and more than 100 acts playing indie, psychedelia, Americana, and folk across 5 stages, while DJs playing everything from psychedlia, dub-reggae, modern electro and stoner rock right through the night. Reading and Leeds Festival: 28th-30th August

The Reading and Leeds Festival is one of the biggest rock festivals in the UK. Both events consistently manage to organise all star line ups that include some of the biggest names in contemporary music - Rock, Alternative, Metal, Punk, Electro and Indie Music.
