To visit Argentina you will need a valid 6 month passport and a 90 day visa unless you are from of Brazil, Chile, Paraguay and Uruguay. For a new application, one of these photos must be endorsed on the back with the words “This is a true photo of (your full name) and then signed by - 5 - your guarantor. For a renewal application, which is the one page form, one of your photos must have your name printed on the back. The photos must be no more than six months old. The following guidelines will help you provide suitable photographs so that your application is not delayed by having to submit new photographs in the required format. The photograph must • be in sharp focus and clear • have a strong definition between the face and background • be printed professionally The photograph must show • no shadows • you facing forwards, looking towards the camera • a neutral expression, with your mouth closed (no obvious grinning, frowning or raised eyebrowes) • your eyes open and clearly visible (with no sunglasses or heavily tinted glasses, and no hair across your eyes) • no reflection or glare on your glasses and the frames should not cover your eyes (you may find it easier to remove your glasses) • your full head, without any head covering, unless it is worn for religious beliefs or medical reasons - 13 - CHILDREN Photographs of children must show a clear image that is a true likeness of the child. Apart from the specific photo requirements above, your Bahamas passport and visa photos must conform to internationally agreed world wide biometric standards.
