By Presley Pingue I will be interviewing people to see if they are ready for the cold weather, and what they like or don’t like about this season.
Q: Do you like winter? Apple Majors: I love winter, it’s awesome. It's a goddess. Briana Martinez: NO. I HATE it. Ben Taylor: I love winter because of snow. I also like it because I like falling off my sled when I am sledding. That's not weird, right? Lilly Goldfarb: *shakes head* Me: There are things I like about winter, and things I don’t so… Sort of?
Q: Do you have all your winter gloves, coats, scarves, and stuff? Apple Majors: I have a coat. That's it. I don’t really get cold… Lilly Goldfarb: No, just a coat. I freeze my butt off. I do not like JOJO SIWA! Do you want to know why? Well if you don’t want to know why then just don’t read this. So now I will tell you why I don’t like her. THIS IS AN OPINION SO IF YOU LIKE HER PLZ DON’T HATE ON ME I JUST REALLY DON’T LIKE HER SORRY. To start off she is really annoying. She is fifteen and acts like a two year old. She is always yelling in her videos which is very annoying. Is it just me or does it seem like JoJo’s face is on everything? She is just a person that I really don’t like. OK now I am wondering where is her HAIRLINE??? Like where is it? I just want to know, is her hairline hiding under a rock? She is destroying her hair! She always has her hair up and so super tight! Like I don’t think she knows that she is ruining her hair!!! Also I think she is a brat. She has such a bratty personality, like I just can’t talk about it. I just don’t like her so sorry if you do but I don’t! Those are the reasons why I don’t like JOJO SIWA.

Chapter 1 Summary: Triplets Jake, Drake, and Blake are sneaking into the forest at midnight to investigate a mysterious purple glow…
They ran through trees, trees, and more trees before finally, they reached a small opening in the forest. “Nothing but grass,” Jake mumbled. “Why would I listen to you anyway?” He turned away and started toward the house in a slow stride. Drake seemed to want to follow Jake, but he knew that Blake wasn't moving, and if Jake was gone Blake would need Drake’s help.
“There has to be something here! I know what I saw!” Blake started walking around looking for something when he slammed into something. He fell back and hit the ground hard. Drake reached over to help him up when he realized that there was some kind of barrier…an invisible one. He reached his hand down and pulled Blake up. Blake pressed his hand against the invisible wall like how little kids press their noses against glass. “There’s something in there, the barrier is protecting it,” Blake said while thinking out loud.
“That can't be! You can see there’s absolutely nothing there,” Drake exclaimed. “But what if the barrier isn't invisible, what if there is something making it invisible that is making everything else invisible too,” Blake said, thinking out loud again. They exchanged glances and started looking around for some kind of secret passage.
Drake was searching through the trees and bushes when he felt a long rod that was stuck to the ground. He felt around it. Nothing. He yanked the rod and it pulled back surprisingly quick and easy. At first he heard nothing, then a loud creaking noise awoke from the silent air. The barrier started to disappear from the bottom up. Blake was right, there was something there, behind the barrier. “A shack,” Blake said, disappointed. They strode toward the shack, feeling defeated. Drake opened the door and swiped at some cobwebs and looked into the darkness.
“We should have brought a flashlight,” Drake told Blake. “Yep, we should have.” Blake walked into the darkness and looked for some kind of purple glow or just something purple. They both searched drawers and cupboards until Blake found it. A book. With glowing purple markings that looked like some kind of unknown language. “Here it is…I found it!” Blake said excitedly. Drake ran over and looked at it. They exchanged looks and then Blake started flipping through the pages.

Look Behind You: A Scary Story By Ben Taylor
Karen Hedge had been a very curious person, from when she was a small child she was constantly asking questions, but today this curiosity proved fatal. Karen had been walking home from school and came across something strange, it was a rock with a red light on the bottom. She picked it up. Alas, curiosity got the best of her and took it home, what a mistake that was. She didn’t make it home before a strange figure started following her. “Hello, Karen” he said. Karen whipped around to see an irregularly tall man with a rope. The last thing Karen remembered was being dragged into a staircase by her legs which were tied up. “You’re finally awake!” the man said. She started screaming so that if anyone was around they could hear her. “Why are you doing this?” she demanded. “Because I can do…” he inched closer and whispered in her ear “whatever I want, now if you’ll excuse me I’m going to go get my next victim” he said while gagging her. Then she noticed there were other people here, and before the door shut she screamed with all her might. That may have been the last ever heard of Karen Hedge.

He was strangely tall and had a deep voice. “You’re going to join me.” “No I’m not, leave me alone!” She started running. It was clear he was chasing her. “Karen told me where you live in exchange for her to leave. There is nowhere for you to run.” “But there is somewhere to jump,” she thought. They had been running for so long they were approaching a bridge. Without thinking about it she jumped off the bridge. “Silly girl,” he said while she was screaming. Before she hit the ground she said, “It’s better than being with you.”

Admitting My Differences By Cali Swartz I am not Christian. I am an Atheist. This means that I am a person who disbelieves or lacks belief in the existence of God or gods. I know that some people think it is strange, and yeah I have to admit it is, but it does not change my friendships or anything about my friends and family. I am just different. I am still a person. I am not weird or bad, I just have different beliefs. Anyway, let’s get back on track. I still celebrate Halloween and Christmas normally. I still get presents and stockings, it just means that I don’t see Christmas as Jesus's birthday. To me it is a sign of giving and love. It feels better to test and see how well people like the thing you give them. I am no different from anyone else in any other way.

The Manhattan Project was organized in Manhattan (obviously), made to help in the race to make the atomic bomb first. A terrible fight. Also because of an Italian scientist Enrico Fermi and German scientist Albert Einstein. Einstein was the first to understand the atomic bomb, first sending a letter to Franklin D. Roosevelt warning him about the power of the bomb. But, as we know, President Roosevelt didn’t heed the warning and dropped the bomb anyway, since the U.S succeeded in the fight to obliterate each other. They dropped the bomb.
Also I made a lot of mistakes in the past papers. And those of you who read the Christmas Concert article there was a technical difficulty. Yah so the concert I was talking about was in school on the twentieth and the one on the eighteenth is at Thomas Worthington in the evening so see you at both of the events.

Hi guys, it’s Carleigh Ann Traverse again for the second time of the column of “It’s OK.” Have you ever had trouble finding a good book? I can help you with that my dudes!!! I read a lot of books at one time, so I feel your pain. Although I recommend that you don’t do what I do and read more than one book all at the same amount of time.
First, you can write down some of the things you like, and some of the things you don’t like.
Next, I recommend that you ask others what they like to read, in case if you might want to consider reading a specific book that they also like and need more ratings of who likes that book to.
Then, you should go to the library.
Finally, find a few books that you want to read.
It’s actually some easy steps to follow if you come to think about it in life. Remember, it’s OK. You might have a little trouble following these steps, but don’t give up. That’s all that matters. Have a good day.

Chapter 1: The Lie
I have seen and been told so many lies in my life, but the one I saw 5 days ago was the biggest one yet. Me and my friend Zack went out to ride bikes and we went down a new bike path we found the day before. We went down and found it lad to one of my favorite stores, Dollar General because everything is so cheap so I can buy stuff with my allowance money. So we decided to go there because my friend had 5 bucks on him. As we ride into the parking lot I see my mom’s car in the lot and just assumed she was buying groceries. I saw her walking to her car when a man came out of her car and started talking to her then they both went into the car and left to a hotel nearby, then I realized that the man wasn't my dad, it was a man she met on the street and she was cheating. That was it, she was cheating! That was the end of my dad and mom’s relationship. I went home to my room and wondered why she did it, for the next 5 days I just wondered why.

Have you ever been to a concert? I have twice. The first one was
a Why Don’t We, and now the Columbus, Ohio Jingle Jam. So, at the Jingle Jam, multiple people played there. The people were Lauv, Bryce Vine, Madison Beer, MKTO, Round 2 Crew, and Why Don’t We. I went with Briana, Presley, Apple, Olive, and Rocco. I knew everyone playing In besides the woods Round 2 Crew. When Madison By: Beer mason came parker out I was so excited because I love her Chapter 2: The flight so much. After Madison Beer, Bryce Vine came out and me and Apple screamedI have sonot loud. talked Then, to my Lauvmom sincecame the ou incidentt and I almost cried. I got his merch and as I'm typing this I'm wearing it. I held it up to see if he would notice me and he smiled at it. Then Why Don’t We came out and Apple, Presley, and I all screamed. I almost cried. At the end of the night, we went by the gates where the singers go to their rides and Daniel Seavey (a Why Don’t We band member) walked out and we screamed and the waved and I was so happy. And that's what happened last night! It was the best night of my life!

Facebook doesn't technically necessarily steal your information. You give it them. When you click OK to that user agreement, you’re signing your information away and if you think you’re smart by putting in Sherlock Holmes as your name and fake information, they still track your location. But, before you start freaking out, they only give it to advertising businesses so they know what you like, so they can give you more advertisement of that thing. But if we would have paid a 12 dollar fee none of this would have happened.

On December 4th we went to the WNCI jingle jam! I know Lily Goldfarb is writing about this too, we went with her but she didn’t want to write with us. It’s OK though! Our favorite people who performed were Why Don't We and Lauv. Now we are going to interview the people who went to the concert!
Q: What were your favorite parts or final thoughts of the concert, and what do you rate it? Lilly: It was an amazing night and I wish it never ended because I love Lauv, Why Don't We, Bryce Vine, and Madison Beer and I really love Why Don't We and Lauv and right now I'm reppin’ Lauv’s merch. I rate it a 10000000000000000 out of 10000000000000000. Rocco: Probably people filming me when I was doing Fortnite dances and probably making memes. And I don’t know what to rate it. Briana: My favorite part was when Daniel Seavey came on stage. Presley: My favorite part was everything. I was screaming my lungs out and dancing the WHOLE time.
Apple Majors also came and so did Olive Majors. But we didn’t get the chance to interview them today. They had a lot of fun though! :)

I’m back!! But by myself sadly. Anyway, let’s recommend! 1. Subnautica. This is a game where you are stranded on an alien planet and have to explore the seas to get stuff to escape. Who Was Stan Lee? By: Lilly Goldfarb
Who was Stan Lee? Stan Lee was a comic book author of Marvel. Stan Lee was born December 28th, 1922. In every Marvel movie there was a cameo with Stan Lee in it. A lot of people loved Stan Lee so this is why I'm doing this passage. Unfortunately, Stan Lee died November 12th, 2018 at the age of 95 so he lived a long, amazing life. Lamps, Magic, and Goodness (Part Six)
A Fantasy Story by Josh Whitmore
Quick review, I found a lamp and I really want Percy Jackson’s powers, and I’m at Grandma and Grandpa’s, and then met a man named Trevor and found out I’m a chosen one called a Yasama. Also, apparently, Grandma’s and Grandpa’s house used to belong to wizards, who were real, along with witches. This is what happens next.
“Then why did humans kill both? Maybe because they thought that witches were evil so they destroyed witches, and then thought that wizards were mourning the death of the witches?” I asked Trevor.
“Yes, they knew that wizards and witches married each other. And when they started thinking that witches were evil, they started to kill them, and eventually witches went extinct, but that didn’t stop them from killing the wizards too.”
“And I’m guessing that they thought that because they had just killed all of the female magic people, the wizards would try to kill them because of what they had just done, right?”
“Yes, this house, this property we are standing on, is the house of the last wizard in the world. He had put powerful enchantments on the property so that humans wouldn’t kill him. And he actually ended up having a very peaceful death.”
“Ok, now I’m confused, where does the lamp come in?” I asked.
“I’ll get to that part, relax. But enchantments didn’t stop humans from trying to kill him. Eventually though, the wizard-”
“What was his name?” I said, interrupting.
“Gary,” he answered. “Now can I get back to it now?”
“Oh, sorry, sure. Go ahead.”
“So he made a lamp that would give someone one wish, but there were three things Gary didn’t tell them. One, was that it would appear every 10 years. The second is that when your wish is over, you get sucked into the lamp and serve The One in There.” He seemed nervous when he mentioned The One in There.
