Upon arrival at the airport in Osaka you will be met by your guide and transferred to your hotel. Take some time to relax and prepare for your full day tour tomorrow.

Accommodation: Best Western Joytel or similar for 1 night

Today after breakfast, you will begin your tour of Japan, starting with a visit to the iconic Osaka Castle where you will explore the building and its surrounds. You will then continue on to the city of , where you will stop to tour the Todaiji Temple and the famous deer park, which is home to over 1,000 holy deer. Your next stop will be at the magnificent Kasuga Taisha shrine, followed by lunch in the city of Kyoto.

Accommodation: Apa Hotel Kyoto Gion Excellent or similar for 2 nights

Today may be enjoyed at leisure, exploring the beautiful city of Kyoto.

You will also have the opportunity to spend the day on our optional tour. The tour will include a visit to Nijo Castle, the Golden Pavillion, Arashiyama Bamboo Forrest, the Nishijin Textile Gallery and the Nishiki Market. Lunch will be provided on the optional tour.

Today you will explore the beautiful Kiyomizu Temple in Kyoto. The temple as a long history, having been first constructed in the 7th century and rebuilt in 1633. The surrounding areas will also be explored, as it is famous for its shopping and the souvenirs, ceramics, Japanese Mochi and snacks that are for sale here. After your tour of Kyoto you will travel to the city of Toyohashi.

After enjoying breakfast this morning you will head to the Green Tea Field located at Maki No Hara. Once here you will learn about Japanese green tea and sample some authentic brews. You will then continue on to the magnificent Owakudani volcano which overlooks the iconic Mt Fuji. If weather permits, you will enjoy a scenic ride on the famous Hakone Ropeway, which provide sprawling views of the surrounding area. Afterwards, you will travel on to the mesmerising city of Tokyo. . Accommodation: Sunshine Prince Hotel Ikebukuro or similar for 2 nights

Today you will have the opportunity to explore the city of Tokyo at leisure. Some of the best places to visit include Harajuku Station and Takeshita Road – which offers great shopping and a glimpse of the fascinating Harajuku culture. You could also visit the area, most famous for the dog statue called Hachikun, located in front of Shibuya Station. We also suggest that you pay a visit to the Meiji Shrine and the Tsujkuji Fish Market, which is renowned for its fresh seafood and delicious sushi.

Breakfast will be served in the hotel.

Enjoy your time at leisure until departure, and then you will be transferred to Narita International Airport by airport shuttle for your flight home. We hope you enjoyed your tour to Japan with us!
