Lion Mayura Royal Kingdom (LMRK) is the name of our organisation. The specialty of this organization is that it has been created and is run by Muruga Peruman Himself. The Muruga Yugam has begun. A very important step has been taken. Muruga Peruman has started this organisation to last for many thousands of years. The significance of the Muruga Yugam is as follows: SHRI REJITH KUMAR • Muruga worship will increase all over the world. • It is the age of the Siddhars. The power of Siddhar science will be known and many people will come forward to research this. • World will come to know about the advance knowledge and the greatness of the Tamil civilization. The fame of Tamil civilization will rise again. And it is for this very purpose, this organisation LMRK has been started. The first and most important task, through the grace of Muruga Peruman is the pradishta of the Mayura Simhasanam at Wales. The pradishta is to happen on the 14th of November 2018 at ‘Thanthondri Anjaneyar Temple’ at Wales (Zero time zone). Wales was specifically chosen as it is in Zero time zone and everything begins at Zero. This will bring in powerful energies crucial to the new Muruga Yugam according to Muruga Peruman. A function is to be held honouring the pradishta of the Mayura Simhasanam at Palani, India. The program will start with a special pooja in the morning at Aivar Malai at 10.00 am. This is next followed by a Giri Valam (circumambulation) around the Palani Malai at 5.00 pm. The festivities will end with a public function attended by well known devotees of Lord Muruga at 6.30 pm. All are welcome in the name of Muruga Peruman! Let us all come together to partake in creating this historic moment. The modern world also knows that a British Polymath, Alan Turing in the year 1950, suggested the concept of decision science, artificial intelligence and machines solving the real world problems. The first commercial, digital & programmable robot was made by Geroge Devol in 1954, the field of AI research was founded at a workshop held on the campus of Dartmouth College during the summer of 1956. But modern world is not aware of the origin of Artificial Intelligence (AI) began back in 8000 to 11000 years, with myths, stories and rumors of artificial beings endowed with intelligence or consciousness by ancient Rishis of India. The seeds of modern AI were planted by classical philosophers who attempted to describe the process of human thinking as the mechanical manipulation of symbols. This work culminated through Knowledge and ideas on many of the technological advancement that we are witnessing today had already been articulated in holy books of Hinduism like The Ramayana, The Mahabharata, The Bhagawatgeeta, The Vedas & Upanishads which were believed to be written 5000 to 8000 years ago (3000 BC – 6000 BC).

  • Genealogy and the Vedic Timescale Sai Venkatesh
Genealogy and the Vedic Timescale Sai Venkatesh The Renowned Astronomer and Cosmologist Carl Sagan once said “The Hindu religion is the only one of the world’s great faiths dedicated to the idea that the Cosmos itself undergoes an immense, indeed an infinite, number of deaths and rebirths. It is the only religion in which the time scales correspond to those of modern scientific cosmology. Its cycles run from our ordinary day and night to a day and night of Brahma, 8.64 billion years long. Longer than the age of the Earth or the Sun and about half the time since the Big Bang”. True enough, Vedic Wisdom beautifully encompasses all facets of nature uncovered only recently by modern science - quantum mechanics, chaos theory, particle physics, big bang, cosmology, dark matter and dark energy, genetic code and an ultimate theory of everything emergent from mathematical symmetry and perfection bridging algebra and geometry through the largest possible Exceptionally Simple Lie Group Structure, the E8. The previous articles have dealt with explaining these aspects of the universe all the way from before the Big Bang until present day life on earth. The corresponding perspectives in Vedic wisdom have also been outlined, in most cases where these universal concepts are alluded to deities such as Adityas, Vasus, Rudras, Ashvinis and so on. (viXra:1808.0371, viXra:1808.0528, viXra:1809.0099) Building on this, the focus of the present article is the Vedic Timescale, and how they map to current understanding of science. In decreasing order of duration one may consider the Vedic Timescales as Mahapralaya, Pralaya, Kalpas, Manvantaras and finally Yugas.

Neem has been used extensively by humankind to treat various ailments before the availability of written records which recorded the beginning of history. The world health organization estimates that 80% of the population living in the developing countries relies exclusively on traditional medicine for their primary health care. More than half of the world's population still relies entirely on plants for medicines, and plants supply the active ingredients of most traditional medical products.

  • Remembering Kumari Nadu - ‘Lemuria’ Reflections on Tamil Spatial Legends Anand Amaladass
Remembering Kumari Nadu - ‘Lemuria’ Reflections on Tamil Spatial Legends Anand Amaladass Heinrich Kruparz, Atlantis and Lemuria, Legends and Myths or Sunken High Cultures of the Past? New Proofs – There Are. (in German) Austria: Weishaupt Verlag, 2009. In the context of celebrating Tamil as a classical language, a few questions could be raised: Are the Tamils really proud to be Tamils, with an esteem for their language and culture? Are they aware that they belong to an ancient civilization with great culture? Does creating this awareness play any role in the formation of the school curriculum? Remembering one’s past is to gain one’s identity, to recognize one’s rootedness in the history of a nation or civilization, and to maintain one’s self worth. It is said that remembering is also a process of healing. Remembrance of one’s past heritage gives confidence and provides orientation to the future. If one forgets one’s past, s/he will lose her/his identity. This is why people trace their origin to an ancient past and claim a lineage from great ancestors of hoary past. 1. The immediate context for this write-up is the publication of a new book in German by Dr. Heinrich Kruparz from Vienna on Atlantis and Lemuria. Legends and Myths. Or Submerged High Cultures of the Past? There Are New Proofs (2009). It is an interesting study by a senior geologist from Vienna. An English version of this book is awaited. This is not a review of the book. However a few salient features of this book are presented here.

  • Aryan Or Dravidian Or Neither?
Iravatham Mahadevan Aryan or Dravidian or Neither? A Study of Recent Attempts to Decipher the Indus Script (1995-2000) 0.1 I am grateful to the Executive Committee for electing me as the General President for the current session of the Indian History Congress, the first to be held in the new Millennium. You would have been taken by surprise at the choice. I can assure you that none could have been more surprised than myself. I am not a historian; I belong to one of the more obscure historical disciplines, Epigraphy, where again I have confined myself to two rather marginal areas namely the Indus script and the Tamil-Brahmi inscriptions. However, here I am and let me do my best to live up to the traditions of this high office. 0.2 I understand from informal consultations with some of my colleagues that I am expected to talk on the state of research on the Indus script. I face a problem here. At the Forty-ninth Session of the Indian History Congress held at Dharwar in 1988, I presided over Section V on Archaeology, Epigraphy and Numismatics and read a paper with the title: What do we know about the Indus Script? Neti neti ‘not this nor that’. I must confess that there is little to add to what I said on that occasion thirteen years ago. Further progress - if it can be so described - up to 1995 has been included by Greogry Possehl in his objective and readable book Indus Age: the Writing System (1996). I do not propose to cover the same ground again except to mention an outstanding publication which deserves special notice.

Pp. 272. $29.60 ISBN 978019533523 India lays claim to a rich medical history and today has a diverse setting of heal- ing traditions or, loosely defined, ‘medical systems’. To promote research and advance education on this history and to make known the contemporary state of affairs of India’s various medical systems, the Indian Government created the Department of Indian Systems of Medicine and Homeopathy (ISM&H) in 1995, renamed the Department of Ayurveda, Yoga, Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha, and Homeopathy (AYUSH) in 2003. For a long time, the medical system most often studied by historians of Indian medicine has been Ayurveda. For the past 50 years, while the traditional Indological work of translating and critically editing ayurvedic texts has continued, scholars have taken a keen interest in the forms and functions of indigenous Indian sciences under European colo- nialism, during the march to independence and in postcolonial democratic India. This scholarship has brought to our attention the numerous ways in which the clinical medicine of the British played a role in colonising India. This work underscores the challenges colonial medicine foisted upon practitioners of India’s indigenous medicines, not only to avoid being subsumed by the flood of biomedicine on the subcontinent but also to compete with biomedi- cal practitioners as purveyors of viable healing therapies for the Indian popu- lation. Here too Ayurveda has tended to be the focus of scholarly attention. Excellent studies of non-ayurvedic medicines have appeared over the past few decades, however, studies that shed light on the diversity of the Indian medical landscape and, importantly, also problematise the idea of indigeneity in India.

Politics After a Ceasefire: Suffering, Protest, and Belonging in Sri Lanka’s Tamil Diaspora Kitana Ananda Submitted in partial fulfillment of the requirements for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences COLUMBIA UNIVERSITY 2016 © 2016 Kitana Ananda All rights reserved ABSTRACT Politics After a Ceasefire: Suffering, Protest, and Belonging in Sri Lanka’s Tamil Diaspora Kitana Ananda This dissertation is a multi-sited ethnographic study of the cultural formations of moral and political community among Tamils displaced and dispersed by three decades of war and political violence in Sri Lanka. Drawing on twenty months of field research among Tamils living in Toronto, Canada and Tamil Nadu, India, I inquire into the histories, discourses, and practices of diasporic activism at the end of war between the Government of Sri Lanka and the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE). Tamils abroad were mobilized to protest the war, culminating in months of spectacular mass demonstrations in metropolitan cities around the world. Participant-observation among activists and their families in diaspora neighborhoods and refugee camps, and their public events and actions, as well as semi-structured interviews, media analysis and archival work, reveal how “diaspora” has become a capacious site of political becoming for the identification and mobilization of Tamils within, across, and beyond-nation states and their borders. Part One of this study considers how migration and militancy have historically transformed Tamil society, giving rise to a diasporic politics with competing ethical obligations for Tamils living outside Sri Lanka. Chapters One and Two describe and analyze how distinct trajectories of migration and settlement led to diverse forms of social and political action among diaspora Tamils during Sri Lanka’s 2002 ceasefire and peace process.

  • Indian History: a Narrative of Truth Sai Venkatesh Balasubramanian
Indian History: A Narrative of Truth Sai Venkatesh Balasubramanian No region in the entire planet has been as misunderstood and misrepresented historically than the Indian Subcontinent. Implications of attempting to understand it's history has gone as far as consequences of the Aryan Race theory in the context of Nazis and atheist Dravidian Tamils. It is high time one puts a full stop to all this by knowing truly the history of India. On the basis of research several conclusions have been put forward: an Aryan invasion from central Asia or Europe, an indigenous origin to the Vedas, a Dravidian yet undecipherable Indus Valley Civilization. All these are correct in their own way within their own scope. The problem is not research accuracy, but narrow perspectives. Furthermore certain glaring and questionable assumptions are often made. For example, how can one validate that human migrations inferred through DNA haplogroups are the only sources by which languages spread and evolve? In this article I shall briefly give an overview narrative of Indian Prehistory, on the basis of collating multiple sources. Some of this narrative stands proven by existing archaeological and linguistic and genetic evidences, which are strung together by logical reasoning. For those with need of more concrete proof, time shall certainly answer. For those whose minds have been so corrupted and brainwashed with dogmas from the Holy See or Aryan Dravidian prejudices, God alone shall answer. For those with honest open minds, yearning to understand the truth and for unbiased researchers trying to put together pieces, this article shall surely be of value, and that alone is the scope of this article.
