Steve showed us the grave of Mary and the other animals that were awarded the Dickin Medal. We saw the graves of Beauty, Antis, Peter, Ricky, Rex and Simon the cat. Steve showed us pho- tographs of these animals and told us very ‘moving’ stories about their lives.
Liz and Georgia then gave us a tour of the PDSA Pet clinic. We met the animal nurses and saw inside the treatment rooms. Best of all, we loved seeing the cats, dogs and rabbits waiting to be taken home after their treatment.
A huge ‘well done’ to Class 3 for showing so much passion to- wards animals and a huge ‘thank you’ to Steve and Liz from the PDSA.
A student in Class 3 said it was his best trip ever!
30 students from across the school were selected to take part in a ’Play In A Day’ workshop of Romeo and Juliet. The students watched a performance by three professional actors and were then given the mammoth task of learning and performing the show, in one day! The students made their own props and supported each other throughout the day, to perform to the rest of the school in the afternoon. They did an amazing job of re-enacting the infamous story, with stunts and all! Well done to all of the students who took part!
