4 Getting Started

Please make sure you are installing the correct APP before backing up ！

Qubii A

1. Please insert the microSD memory card into Qubii A. The capacity of the microSD card should be greater than the capacity of the photos & videos of your current smartphone. Refer to the Sengs secon of your Android phone to see how much current space of your photos and videos..

* If your microSD card is 32GB or 64GB, our Qubii App will help you to convert your microSD card to exFAT format in order to store individual ﬁles much larger than 4GB.

* The microSD card is not included in the standard package.

2. Connect Qubii A’s USB port into your cell phone’s USB power adapter.

3. Connect your cable to both Qubii A’s USB slot and the cell phone.

* Please note that Qubii A only works when it is connected to power. It is always best to work with the cable & power adapter from the brand of your cell phone.

4. When you have connected Qubii A to your phone, you will be prompted to install the Qubii A App. If not, scan the QR code and download the Qubii A App from Google Play Store.

5. Launch the Qubii A App and follow the SETTINGS instrucons. Congratulaons, you are now ready to backup your phone. 5 Qubii A Application | Setup Qubii A

1.Launch the Qubii A App and connect your cable to the cell phone. 2.Follow the 4 steps of on-screen instrucons to provide access to your Photos, Contacts and any future noﬁcaons.

*Aer that, you will be able to backup your cell phone data automacally while it charges.

6 Application｜Setting Up Qubii A

For an Android phone, the Qubii A App will pop-up the speciﬁc message while seng up your device. Please follow the ！ instrucons below. Please click the check box and click OK in order to connect Qubii A to your cell phone.

7 Application｜Setting up Qubii A

There are a few brands of Android phones that will pop up the message below every me when you charge, please click “cancel” if ！ this message shows up.

NOTE: a few brands of Android phones will pop-up this message. If it shows up, please click “cancel”.

2 Backup all items to Qubii

When you click on “Full Backup”, it will scan for new items to backup. If you need to stop the backup, please click on “Cancel”.

If you need to stop backup, please click on “Cancel”. Do not ！ unplug the cable to avoid the ﬁle geng damaged.

12 Applicaon | Restore

3 Restore Full Backup to new device.

Plug in Qubii to your new device. Click on “Restore” and select the album you want to restore. It will restore photos | videos | contacts to your new device all at once.

13 Applicaon | Restore Contacts

Create a backup contact ﬁle and restore it when needed. This is parcularly valuable when moving to a new device.

Please go through: Qubii A App > Browse Contents > Contact Backup > VCF

Contacts with the same name will be duplicated when the restore ！ opons is selected.

Restore Contact Backup 1. Click on “Contact Backup” and click VCF ﬁle to restore Contacts to iPhone.

2. Restore all contacts to new devices.

3. Click name to restore by clicking “import”. Sengs | Backup Items

On the top right corner, you will ﬁnd the Sengs icon.

1. You can backup your photos, videos and contacts.

2. We will launch the feature of Backup Facebook contents in 2020.

15 Sengs | Postpone Backup

You can decide when to start backup when you charge your cell phone.

16 Sengs | Notiﬁcation for Progress

You can decide when to nofy you the backup statues when you charge your cell phone.

17 Sengs | Backup Information

1. Through backup informaon, you can learn how many photos have been backed up and the latest backup date.

2. If you want to re-start backup again, please click “reset backup record.”

18 Sengs | Trusted Devices

If you have more than one Qubii A, you can check how many Qubiis have been trusted by this cell phone. The App will not backup data to untrusted devices.

19 More Settings

It will clean up the cache ﬁles in the Qubii A App. This step may slow the speed of browsing photos in the Qubii A.

The Qubii App supports exFat format only. If your microSD card is 32GB or 64GB, our app will help you to convert your microSD card to exFAT format in order to store individual ﬁles much larger than 4GB.

Aenon!! Format the microSD card will clean up all the data in ！ the microSD card. Please backup your data before formang.

20 FAQs & Troubleshooting

1. In the initial setting, my cell phone pops up this message, what can I do?

If this message pops up, please check the check box to allow Qubii A applicaon to detect Qubii A hardware, then click “OK”. Aer that, this message won’t pop-up again.

2. Every time when I charge my phone, it always asks me this… which one should I choose?

If this message pops up, please click “cancel”. A few brands of Android phone will ask user to select one connecon way. So far, the brand we know include OPPO, HUAWEI, RED MI will pop up this message. This is the message for the cell phone system and Qubii A hardware, it won’t impact the Qubii A app running in the background.

3. Qubii A APP pops up every time when I charge my phone. Do I do something wrong? Can I using other App while backup?

Due to the limitaon of the Android system, Qubii A app will pop-up every me when you charge your cell phone. It’s ﬁne to using other apps while backing up. Qubii A App will run in the background. 21 FAQs & Troubleshooting

4. Why won’t my Qubii A pop up the backup notification? Please check your cell phone ’s Android system is version 6.0 or above. If it’s lower than 6.0, the system won’t show the noﬁcaon, even when you turn on the feature of the noﬁcaon in the Qubii A Sengs. 5. How do I download the Qubii A App? Please scan the QR code of the package or search for “Qubii A” in the Google Play store.

6. Can I unplug Qubii A in the middle of the backup? If you need to stop the backup, please click on “Cancel”. Do not unplug the cable in order to avoid the ﬁle geng damaged.
