THE CONFERENCE Registration and security • Registration will open at 8 a.m. on Monday, 30 May 2011, one hour before the opening session. We encourage you to arrive at the OECD Conference Centre in good time. • For security reasons, all visitors to the OECD are required to pass through a metal detector and all visitors’ bags are X-rayed. • In order to obtain your ABCDE badge that gives you access to the meeting rooms, you will need to present your passport or equivalent national identity card (with photo) at the reception. Please note: participants must wear their ABCDE 2011 badges at all times. • A cloakroom facility is available at the reception. Self-service cloakrooms are also available next to each meeting room. Internet access • There is free WiFi at the OECD Conference Centre (connect to “OECD HotSpot”; no password required) • There are plenty of places to plug in your laptops and there are some computers for visitors’ use next to the copy centre and the expresso bar. Documentation • Your conference folders contain the agenda, speakers’ biographies and practical information. • Papers, presentations and other documents will be available on the conference websites and/or saved on your USB key (flash- drive). Intepretation • English-French interpretation will be available during the keynote speeches, plenary sessions and roundtable. Lunches • Lunches will be served in room CC12 on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Conference dinner • All participants are warmly invited to a buffet dinner on Monday, 30 May 2011 (18:30-21:00). • The venue is the Château de , which adjoins the OECD Conference Centre. Hotels, travel and tourism • If you require help finding a hotel or changing your travel arrangements, Suite Voyages (our partner travel agency) will be happy to help you. They can also provide tourist advice and recommendations. • Go to the Suite Voyage desk at the Conference Centre or contact [email protected]. Shuttle bus from the hotel Le Meridien Etoile (81 Boulevard Gouvion Saint-Cyr, 75017 Paris) Participants staying in Le Meridien Etoile are invited to take a special daily shuttle bus between the hotel and the conference venue (a journey of 10 minutes). There will be a morning departure from the hotel and an evening departure from the OECD. Times will be given at the hotel and the event.
