Imaging We have the full spectrum of imaging modalities at Hammersmith Hospital, delivering advanced clinical practices such as Cross-sectional Cardiac Imaging in CT, Radiographer led CT Colonoscopy examinations, and highly complex Interventional Radiology including PAVM embolisations, SIRTEX treatments.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:  To assist in the provision of an efficient and patient centred radiology service.  To work as part of the departmental professional multidisciplinary team, providing a high quality diagnostic service.  To maintain a sensitive, courteous and caring approach to patients.  Supervising and training junior members of staff and students; supporting service delivery in a General Rotation – CT, Interventional Radiology, Plain Film, Mobiles and Theatres and Endoscopy.  Participation in the out of hours is required. In the future, we are moving to a 7 day working model as per Agenda for Change. Staff will be expected to fully participate in this rotation.

EDUCATION Application form/CV: Student clinical assessors BSc(Hons) Radiography, course DCR(D) Diploma of the College of Radiographers or equivalent College of Radiographers accredited IV cannulation Health and Care course Professions Council Registration Post graduate modules in topics relevant to post Commitment to continuous professional development. Portfolio demonstrating ongoing CPD

EXPERIENCE Application form/CV: Up to date knowledge of Greater than 18 months general imaging post-graduation techniques experience

Able to work unsupervised CT and/or Angiography experience Awareness of clinical governance issue in Previous experience as relation to patient care Senior 2 / Band 6 radiographer

Experience of training staff and students COMMUNICATION Application form/CV: Demonstrate effective SKILLS verbal and written communication skills
