BOWIE:ALADDIN SANE 45th ANNIVERSARY

It will be the 45th Anniversary since Bowie’s was released (April 1973). In 2003, the album was ranked among six Bowie entries on Rolling Stone’s list of the 500 Greatest Albums of all Time. It has sold over 5 million copies worldwide. To mark this anniversary, there will be a strictly limited one run only silver vinyl edition of Aladdin Sane will contain Ken Scott’s approved 2013 remaster and will be released on 20th April, 2018, 45 years to the day since the original release date for the album.

GIRLS JUST WANNA HAVE FUN

No-one will remember the 80s without thinking of Cyndi Lauper! The colourful, iconic female pop star has sold over 50 million records and 20 million singles throughout her career. Her debut album ‘She’s So Unusual’ was the first female album to chart 4 top five hits on the Billboard Hot 100. It’s also included in Rolling Stone’s list of the 500 Greatest Albums of All Time. ‘Girls Just Wanna Have Fun’, ‘Time After Time’, ‘She Bop’ and ‘All Through the Night’ earned Lauper the Best New Artist Award at the Grammy Awards in 1985.

Lauper has been celebrated for her humanitarian work, particularly as an advocate for gay and transgender rights in the United States.
