Summer Blast Camp is the BEST OF THE BEST! Summer Blast Camp is built on energy and enthusiasm, and children will enjoy memorable experiences that they’ll look forward to every day, including special event days and field trips. It’s a new adventure at every turn! Field trips may include visits to Blackberry Farm, Splash Country, Funway, Brookfield Zoo, Enchanted Castle, movie theatres and more. Children should bring a sack lunch, two snacks and a water bottle each day. Before- and after-care options are available at all locations for an extended camp day.

Ages: Summer Blast Camp 6Y to 11Y 5-WEEK SESSION REGISTRATION Days: Register for an entire 5-week session and Monday to Friday receive a special discounted rate! There is a $250 security deposit due at registration for the 5-week Day Camp Time: session. Junior Counselor Program This week-long camp will provide teens (ages 14 and 15) with the essential skills they need to become young leaders and future camp counselors. Participants will develop effective leadership abilities through teamwork, safety, communication, responsibility, patience and problem-solving skills. Teens will gain confidence, self-discipline and leadership skills. Upon completion of this training program, junior counselors will choose from a list of Park District Summer Camp locations to gain hands-on experience while assisting with day-to-day duties and activities. Free Summer Camps Summer Playgrounds Program The Summer Playground Programs offers fun activities such as sports, arts and crafts, small group Free! games, reading time and field trips. Children will have the opportunity to go on field trips (fee required). Field trips will include district water parks, Vertical Endeavors and others. All trips will departure from each camp location. Trips are subject to change. A complete list and schedule will be available the first day of camp. This six-week program is scheduled at four locations. We will have registration forms available at each camp site or you may pick up the registration forms ahead of time at any of our community centers starting March 21. Please fill out forms and bring them on the first day that you attend camp. Registration forms will be taken by the Fox Valley Park District playground staff starting the first day of the program at each playground site. EXTENDED DAY CAMPS Extreme Encounters Do you have the skills to find Outdoor Explorers Camp Bigfoot? Is there a Nessie living in the Fox River?
